I choose Precision after reviewing the website and how detailed they promoted their products. Dave the service tech arrived at our scheduled time, was polite and well spoken. He listened to every question we had and made recommendations based on our questions. He installed a new motor as well as key pads and remotes along with new necessary rollers and line. Whole job was less than 3 hrs. Highly recommend this company.

So I am not a happy customer and reading through you will know why. I am a first time home owner and one morning my garage doors would open half way and then keep reversing on closing. I called Precision and they sent over a tech to check it out. The tech a young kid, seemed to know his stuff and asked me if there was a power outage and in fact we did have one the night earlier. So he immediately tells me the power outage fried the motor or damaged it. He then highly recommends I change the 2 systems for $ 2400.00 The second option was for him to repair the motor which would cots me $ 700.00 and the 3rd option which he did not recommend was to try to re program the system. I told him if every single power outage would fry the motor the whole neighborhood would be replacing their garage doors frequently. Also to me the motor was working fine and when I ran it disengaged it did not seem to be damaged or sound different as a motor which was fried or had damaged parts would. So what would he tell me the motor was not working when it was ? and how did he know some part was damaged when both motors were running well if you disengaged. So I went with the 3rd option to reprogram which would cost me $ 400.00 All he did was reset it and in less than a minute both doors were working fine. I paid him the $ 400.00 though it seemed outrageously high just to reset something. After he left it got me thinking and researching what I paid $ 400.00 for someone to just press a button. Also his approach to highly recommend changing both machines fully knowing they were running seemed very unfair to me as a novice customer I contacted Precision because of their reputation and this experience has left me feeling let down. I hope this reaches out to high management so others like me do not face the issue. Morally I deserve a 50 % refund.

A spring and cable repair turned into more than I bargained for as far as cost, but based on the age of the door, it was worth it just to hear what a garage door should actually sound like. Prior to the technican's arrival I received an email with a bio and picture of or the technican. The technican called in advance and provided an ETA for his arrival. Chris Karnacewicz came to my home today, assessed my issue and suggested corrective approach along with a price. As a repeat customer my information came up on his computer, and he thanked me for using them in the past and for calling again. Kevin S was my technician for a opener not working. Diagnosed the issue immediately and gave his recommendation on what he would do. I ended up replacing both the openers not just the broken one. He did the work very fast and explained everything at the end. Great technician, very nice guy.
