What started out as a $39.95 service call + parts to replace 2 gears in a Lift Master opener ( parts on Ebay $ $20.00) quickly turned into a $198.00 repair with 2 other options in excess of $450 + Thanks but No Thanks. Brand new unit at Home Depot or Lowes.....

Len - Thanks for your review. It's not uncommon that our professional equipment gets compared to the cost of a store bought unit that cost much less. What's never taken into account is tax, installation, and removal of your old unit. Most Lowes and Home Depot around the country charge $160-$200 simply for the installation. We appreciate the opportunity to provide an estimate and apologize that your repair exceeded your budget.
