Late afternoon on a Friday my springs snapped after 12 years. Looking for a repair company and knew of Precision so gave them a call. Also saw reviews of people I knew. It was scheduled for that Sunday. George the tech arrived in the time frame I was given and was very prompt. When George arrived he inspected the entire garage and noted the cables would need replaced at some point. I gave the ok to handle now. Within I think 30 minutes George had the new springs installed and cables replaced. I was impressed. The entire process George made it smooth to complete. I must say the door opens and closes much better now then the past 12 years when another company installed the garage

I chose Precision Door Service after reviewing the customer feedback on their website, and I was not disappointed. They scheduled service on the day following my inquiry, provided e-mail confirmation of their schedule, followed that up with a telephone notification on the morning of the planned visit, and arrived within the quoted two-hour time window. Their technician (Timothy) was thorough in examining the garage door problems, explained the options that were available, and responded clearly to my questions. He was very friendly, the process was very professional, all materials required were readily available, the required work was completed within a very reasonable time, and I was completely satisfied with the needed repairs.

The pulleys seemed a little expensive, but everything else was very satisfactory.

Technician Mark arrived within time period very professional. Replaced main gear drive sprocket on drive assembly. Don’t feel as though this Steel sprocket should have broken from the steel shaft. Plastic gears should have been damaged before steel broke off ( my opinion) factory part defect unit only 4years old but Mark re-positioned chain and reworked opener operation. Precision’s cost was reasonable. Very satisfied customer. Liked the fact, Veterans and or senior discount applied and also credit card acceptance. Made receipts via e-mail perfect. Thanks
