Bobby was beyond GREAT. Superb skills and communication. Plus his total rebuild of everything but the physical garage door itself was exceptional. He showed and told us what was wrong, total metal fatigue of 50 years wear and tear on everything, gave us the costs and then DID the work. All to our satisfaction and happiness. New spring, rollers, bearings, etc.

The technician actually arrived a few minutes earlier than scheduled. That was great. He was very friendly and explained everything that he found in need of replacement. He provided me with 2 quotes based on equipment. He completed the replacement of all components in a little over 1.5 hours. He provided a detailed explanation of everything.

A delivery truck hit the garage hard enough to bend the garage door tracks, break the light fixture on the garage door assembly, and did a bunch of damage. Precision came out the day after I called, gave me an estimate to repair the damage, then stayed and did the repair. Upgraded a very worn system of springs to a new torsion spring while they were here. Wow, great response, great service, and very polite and competent staff. Excellent all around!

My garage door cable had come off its worn corner bracket. I placed a call to Precision at 8:25 this morning and got an appointment and got an appointment for today between 10:30 - 2:30. Technician Chris B. called at 9:50 and arrived at 10:10. He was very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. He conducted a thorough inspection of my garage door and provided me with three options to fix the problem. He explained each option clearly and the benefits of each. He immediately went to work on the door and completed the entire job in a very impressive time. He did an outstanding job replacing the cables, springs, pulleys, rollers, corner bracket and installed a strut to reinforce the bottom panel of the door. He cleaned up the area taking all the old worn parts with him. Great job!!!!!

Our garage door opener (motor) stopped working and we called Precision to have the problem assessed. The technician, Eric B, arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem and offered us 3 potential solutions. Eric described each option, listing the pros and cons as well as the price point, and answered our questions. Once we selected the new garage door opener, Eric when to work and had our new opener in place in about 90 minutes. He demonstrated how to use the new opener and told us how to effectively use the system the way we wanted to use it...all the time maintaining a safe (COVID) distance and keeping a mask in place. We would absolutely recommend Precision to anyone and are extremely pleased!

The technician did a good job during the repair. However, after using the door several times it has gone back to closing and or opening with assistance in having to push the remote several times before it closes or open. So, I am going to have to request service at your convenience to see what is really happening with the closing and opening of the door. Sometimes it closes without assistance and then there are times when it needs to push the remote several time when it goes back up several times.

The only negative I would give that it was not obvious that there were multiple door styles if you select the ">". The first time thru the web site, I could not locate the particular type of door I was looking for.

Pete did an amazing job. He diagnosed the problem with my old opener in a couple of minutes and then provided repair or replacement options. I was leaning to replace and his logic with out any prompting other than asking for options provided the needed information for me to go with a replacement. His removal of the old opener and replacement with a model I had already researched was quick and professional. The added bonus was the model I wanted was in stock on the truck so a follow up visit was unnecessary. I had a great new opener in less than 90 minutes!

I have taken 2 weeks before wiring this review because I wanted to be calm when I wrote it. I am giving precision three stars, but that is only because of the excellent service performed by the last technician (Derek). Were it not for him, I would have given just one star. I contracted for a complete exchange of garage door openers and associated hardware. The contract was for the 8550 series motors, but the 8550s were not installed. Instead, a lower model was installed. I only discovered this when I couldn't figure out how to program the system or when I tried to operate the system on battery mode. When I asked the technician (Derek), who showed up to complete another task, as to why I couldn't program the unit, he was puzzled and he informed me that the unit that was installed was not the 8550 series and was not programmable. He looked at the invoice and immediately discovered that the wrong motors had been installed. The salesman who I contracted with (Corey), also did the installation along with a rookie (John). I don't understand how a salesman (actually I believe he said he was a sales supervisor from Arizona), could confuse the two motors systems. The two systems are completely different in size/color/lighting system/function. Mr. Corey is either incompetent or he tried to cheat me. I don't know which of these is worst. I was also displeased at the installation Mr. Corey and John did. They failed to secure the wires, they made big holes in the ceiling because the cables did not reach the outlets (even though Mr. Corey had performed the initial site inspection), they took my garage door window panel screws by error and this created a host of other problems, they started to leave the site without installing the wireless key entry components and I had to stop them before they departed, etc. I don't understand why Precision thinks it's a good idea to have a salesman do the installation. Mr. Corey is a good salesman, I wouldn't have gone with Precision if he wasn't. But, he is a terrible installer. Had it not been for Derek, I would be writing this letter to the BBB and the State Attorney General. Precision should be thankful to have such an honest and customer focus employee.

I rarely give 5 stars for anything. I was very pleased with Barry from Precision Garage door. Before Barry arrived my garage door spring was broken and our garage door made a huge racket when it did work. Barry adjusted the garage door tracks and oiled everything up. We can barely hear the garage open or close now!

The team arrived early in the afternoon well within the window of time they had given us. They examined the door quickly and were able to give us an estimate within 5 minutes of their arrival and answer questions that we had. They worked efficiently, completing the work in less than the 45 minutes they had estimated. They double checked the working of the door. They showed me how to do the lubrication and then showed my spouse who came home while they were packing the truck. It was an excellent, professional job from the beginning to the end.
