I noticed that the bracket, inner top of garage door, looked like it was going to snap off. Called Precision (checked out reviews before calling) to get a quote for repair and a new door (just in case). I was able to get an appt the very next day. The tech, Bobby V., arrived and immediately started to diagnose the problem. My issue was fixable (no new door required) and to my surprise I could get it fixed on the spot. Bobby V. went over all that was needed, to include other recommendations and showed me the associated costs prior to starting the job. The work was completed in no time at all and everything was functioning as expected. Afterwards, he went over what was worked on again to ensure I was good with everything. My door was halfway open and would not budge. I called PrecisionDoor who came and diagnosed the trouble as cobwebs around the floor sensors. I saw that it was true. The technician, Jay, asked me if I wanted a tune up on the door. After replying “yes”, he went to work. The garage door opener now works smoothly without any noise. Jay asks questions and listens to my answers. He is courteous, respectful and knowledgeable. I would have Jay return for all of my garage door needs in the future.

Just got an issue with my garage door fixed. Dakota, the technician, was punctual, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. He immediately identified the issue and quickly made the necessary fixes. The bill was significantly higher than I had anticipated, but it was a critical part of the door, and this fix should hopefully last me for a number of years. You get what you pay for is an adage that is perhaps true in this case. Good service and peace of mind. I am a repeat customer, by the way, and I am quite likely to stick with them in the future as well.

Very responsive company. Service Technician Barry was on time, very polite and knowledgeable. He identified the problem as soon as the door was opened, adjusted the sensors and fixed the problem in a couple of minutes. He did not even need to prepare an estimate because it was fixed immediately - excellent work. HOWEVER, the reason for the low rating is based on the fee I was charged. His manager said I was to be charged $195 for the visit. Barry called to see if the price could be reduced or waived. Sean said he could reduce the charge to $100 for 5 minutes of work with no parts. While I appreciate the knowledge and quality of service, plus travel costs to come to my home, I think this is too expensive and discourages repeat customers. I would not recommend to my friends unless their door/opener has really serious issues. The website also advertises senior discounts but there are none. I was a repeat customer, but now I'm hesitant to call for any future work because of the expense.

Keith the technician was very knowledgeable, and prompt. We have a garage on the property that would open at random. He explained the issues with the garage and suggested a solution. First - I called to set up an appointment on the 4th of July and as the website indicated - they were taking apopintments! Second - I received a service window for 3 days later of 12-4PM. Third - Barry telephoned at 12:30 and said he;d be there in 20 minutes Fourth - Barry appeared exactly 20 minutes later. Just for these four reasons, this company gets 5 stars! But then I was totally impressed with Barry's knowledge of garage door systems and patience in explaining how everything works so I could make an intelligent decision of the next steps. Barry replaced the broken master link on the belt drive, re-balanced the main spring, lubricated all necessary parts and did a quick overhaul on the master unit to make sure everything was operating properly - all in under 30 minutes. Bary impressed me with his professionalism and sense you could trust him. I recommend this company and Barry with absolutely no reservations - you'll wish there were other companies that operated like this - thanks! Joe
