I needed emergency service on Sunday, September 22, 2024, as I accidentally hit the door with my vehicle. Sadmir Hamzic arrived early and repaired the door in a very short amount of time. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I will definitely call Precision Door again if I ever need emergency service in the future.

The technician replaced a broken torsion spring. Since they are replaced in pairs, he replaced the other spring as well. Everything went south from there. One spring is a different diameter than the other. The cables came off the spools. He finally gave up and charged me just for the service call. However I am still stuck with a non-functioning door and 2 different size torsion springs.

We are sorry to hear this customer is not happy with our service provided. We have refunded this customer his service call fee. As the customer noted, he was not charged for the parts used to try to repair his door. We reviewed with our Technician, and he confirmed that the customer needs to replace his garage door and that he recommend total replacement of the garage door to the customer. The customer expressed to our Technician that he is selling the house and really didn’t want to spend that money. Our Technician tried to help him out and do a band-aid repair to a garage door that he should not have tried to repair at all. We have specifically reviewed these details with our Technician.

We had a late night garage door mishap - could not close which means all our belongings were unable to be locked up for the night. We called and the door was fixed. Even with the "emergency" charge, the cost was very reasonable.

He was totally competent, and I am so relieved that this work was done in a timely fashion by an employee who definitely knew exactly what had to be installed, and everything was cleaned up by the time of his departure. One of the springs broke on a 20+ garage door. I called at 8:00am on Saturday morning and had a same day appointment "between 10 and 12." But the serviceman, Mark, called about 9:00 and said he was on his way. He had the springs replaced, wires changed and everything lubed by about 10:30. Then we looked at the other door and he showed me that the cable drums needed replacing. No pressure, just an accurate assessment of the problem. He replaced those and was on his way by 11:00. Both doors now run smooth and quiet. Well worth the cost.

Had 3 garage doors and one opener installed and I am very pleased with the work done. They are very timely and pleasant and returned my phone calls promptly. I would HIGHLY recommend them to family and friends. They were also a little cheaper than other companies for the some materials. Did have a small piece of trim fall off of opening and when I called for repair, they came out the next day and fixed the trim at no charge.

Precision is a fitting name for these guys. They were on time, very courteous and respectful. They fixed my old door quickly and cheap. I wish I had went with precision from the beginning after calling other companies who didn't even show up. They gave me 2 quotes for a new garage door since I needed one for what seems like a fair price. I will definitely be giving them a call shortly to have the new door put in. Thanks Precision!
