There are some real issues with quoting as the technician stated to my wife it would cost $200 to install our previously purchased Chamberlain unit or $300 to install a Lift Master unit supplied by Precision Door. This is totally different from the estimate I received in writing which states $324 to install our pre-puchased Chamberlain or $460 to install their Lift Master. So, what is the price??? This is the second time we've had them out here in the past month and he didn't address the issue at hand the first time! It seems like he only wanted to sell us new and his stuff! He said our existing lift has a burnt out motor but then stated something about moving the rail from the center of the door to the side. These have been installed for the past 15 years and worked fine up until now, and I know the motor works as I've seen it work up and down repeatedly but you need to hold the button in order to do this. I'm really disappointed with the customer service as they didn't fix the real issue the first time and the second time they said our motor was burned out and the track was off, but the motor runs along the track perfectly fine when the door's not connected! It's when the door is connected that it tends to bind up and doesn't function! So, would you like to send another guy out to look at it? I'm willing to give you one more shot at it as I've already paid for a service call and still haven't gotten my money's worth!
