Broken Garage Door Spring Repair

Rick did a great job installing new torsion springs on our garage door and Precision was able to get me an appointment very quickly. The part I can't get around is the price of the parts. $250/spring! I spent almost $700 in total. I understand these are not the same springs I could purchase at a home improvement store for $25. I understand they are supposed to last longer. I also understand there is insurance and more overhead costs to make up. But why the parts that are supposed to last 3x longer than standard springs cost 10x the amount is what I don't understand. In the end I should have done more research before calling Precision.
