Service was good but a little disappointed. I was told that it was a service fee of $59, which it was but the only thing wrong with it was a wrong light bulb and I was charged a labor fee of $79. He was here like 25 minutes.

During our service we also found that one of the lag screws had ripped out of your drywall. We installed a longer lag into the stud to better secure your opener. !st Class Service! I knew a couple of years ago that the garage door would not last much longer even after I had done my DIY maintenance comprising of a can of garage door lubricant with a shot on each roller, springs, and bearings. The damn thing still squealed like a stuck pig. Yesterday it gave up the ghost and only opened halfway and no amount of fiddling with the pulleys and wires and spraying lubricant everywhere (including on my spectacles) helped get the door opening or closing. So I looked for a local repair company. Decided on Precision because they had a good write-up and had a swath of great testimonials. The service technician turned up on Monday morning and confirmed my suspicion that the old rusty and ancient cables, wires, runners, and springs were knackered (British English for unserviceable) but still offered me three options on how to deal with the crisis. I chose option 3 because of the warranty (5 years) agreed on the price and he went to work like a Welsh gold miner. He completed the job within the hour, true to his word, collected his gold, and off he went. The job was very well done and I don't miss the pig squealing every time I hit the blue button. Chris Newman (The Welsh gold miner) was a very affable chap. Mentioned my British accent (after which I liked him straight away) and he didn't waste any time. He got it done! Good experience will highly recommend the company (they have smart looking trucks that look like they could be turned into military vehicles in an instant) and Chris, who's also a biker!

Saturday afternoon while I was waiting outside for my ride I heard what sounded like something hitting one of the garage doors. For some unknown reason I went to see if it was possibly in my garage and to my surprise it was. I found one of the tension springs had sprung. Thankfully it didn’t hit my car or do any serious damage but unfortunately I knew I’d have to get it repaired quickly. I called Precision Garage Doors and they were there in less than 24 hours and did an outstanding job as well.

I applaud the all around professionalism from the receptionist and Adam Pellegrine, who served my garage issue. Even though his service revealed a minor issue, I learn quite a bit of information concerning garage doors. Precision Door replaced our garage door when we moved in 1998. The have done an excellent job ever since. Today Joel came out to adjust the sensors on our garage door which was misaligned. Joel was sharp helpful courteous and professional. Our garage was adjusted and operating correctly in a matter of minutes. Joel is an excellent example why we are loyal customers of Precision Door
