I asked for Clayton and he came to repair my garage door. He explained everything about what needed to be fixed. I appreciated his information and even though I know about garage doors I like his explaining every detail. He is very knowledgeable and very nice. If and when I needed more repairs or service I would like Clayton to do it.

Nice professional technician. But I was sticker shocked. $160 to change a drive belt??? Telling me bearings and springs are already bad on an 8 year old door that looks and feels new? $500 to fix that - no way! I'll get the parts and do it myself. I found you from the sticker on the garage door opener the original owner left on it. I'm peeling it off.

Although it may seem odd, garage door products dont last like they used to as evidenced by the fact that we previously serviced the door. Door openers typically break due to weak springs. Work involved reattaching bracket from a previous repair (broken bolt on bracket holding the spring rod). Work was completed in timely manner and Precision covered the repair at no cost to me.

I called Precision because they have given me quality service in the past with the smaller garage door. The technician, Clayton Hall, explained what was causing the various problems I was having with the larger door and offered several options to correct them. I chose to replace the springs and rollers, and the failed outside controller. Now the door operation is very quiet and the 23+ year old opener motor no longer struggles. Then at my request and at no additional cost, Clayton programmed the Home-Link controller in my new car, not only to control the two garage doors, but also the entrance gate to my neighborhood. My neighbor had had such a difficult time programming his Home-Link for the entrance gate that I had been putting that task off; Clayton did it in less than a minute! Thanks Precision and Clayton!
