I first became acquainted with Precision Garage Door Service 16 years ago when I lived in San Antonio. I always contracted with them because they have stellar materials, employees, and knowledge base. They worked so well with me every time I wanted to make a change, from going to a battery backed up opener, to changing the wall unit, and things my not techie self could do like change the door code or program my new car. So, here in PA, they were my immediate go to company when the garage door - in my 2 yr old home - was causing all kinds of problems. Builders hire the lowest bidder when building, so, naturally, I wasn't going to that company and I saw no point in shopping around. The faith I have in Precision is such that I knew I could count on them even though this was my first time in PA. Precision does not disappoint. Ever! Their products have a lifetime guarantee and they honor it! You need not look anywhere else for the service you require. Call Precision first if you want things done correctly the first time. You'll not be sorry. Oh, one more thing. I hold no stock in this company and am not related to anybody there. This is an honest opinion of a true customer, who's been a customer for more than a decade, I swear. This review form doesn't let me fill out all the service that was performed, so: replaced springs and several other pieces of hardware, balanced the door and sat back and enjoyed.

The technician did a thorough assessment of our 12-year-old door and parts. Although the broken spring was obvious, he was able to explain how other parts of the system were worn and could cause problems in the future. The technician carefully explained the levels of maintenance I could choose from. He performed the chosen work, which involved more than the spring, in a shorter time than I expected and then showed me the work he had done. He did great work and was very courteous.

I’ve been waiting for months ..,. Over a year, to make the” dreadful “ call to have someone look at my garage doors that are at least 30 years old. I called Precision on a Friday and we had someone over the next day. I couldn’t believe it, I was already impressed that I didn’t have to miss anytime from work. I was told Henry will be here between 9-11 am and I will receive a call about 20 minutes before to let me know he is on his way. The gentleman that I was in contact first to make this all work I want to say thank you! ???? Henry called just like I was told and he was on time, he is professional and down to earth. He turned something I was dreading into a painless ( wish I would of done it sooner) experience. My husband and I appreciate how he explained everything and provided some ideas. We have 3 quotes and all 3 are reasonable. Getting ready to use the app so we can take a picture of our house to help pick out our new garage doors….. can’t wait to move forward!!! Thank you again!

Precision surprised me with their immediate response to my query, and then arranged to visit my site the next day. The service technician arrived on time and expertly examined my broken door. He explained the problem clearly. I then asked him if he would address two other issues, which he did. Then he gave me three repair options. I chose option 2, and then learned that he had all the know-how and materials on his service truck. Outstanding. All my repairs were done and tested in about an hour and a half, on the spot. What more could I ask for? The technician was very pleasant and professional. So I had a wonderful experience when I thought I might be stuck with a bad door for maybe a week.

From the moment that Chad exited his service truck and introduced himself, I was confident that I had “googled” the right company to resolve my rather challenging issue. It was obvious from the outset that Chad was a professional; was well informed and trained in resolving challenging issues. He demonstrated that he was interested in and wanted to solve my problem. He spent a short time gathering an understanding of the issue; determining what he needed in terms of time and material to do the job. The conversation ended with a cost of the project and an indication of the time needed to complete the job. He returned the next day; prepared to do the installation of an opener and repairs to the track. The job was completed in the time frame that I was given. The big take away for me was that Chad was able to maintain my original door and install and opener that worked without flaws. I felt as if I had won the lottery. Anyone needing service of this kind should definitely contact Precision Door; AND know that you will be getting the best service at an excellent cost. I recommend Precision Door without any reservations.

I had installed my garage door by myself to save some money, I had alot of trouble getting to operate correctly though which resulted in some damage. I finally caved and called Precision Door. They arrived the next day and replaced all my hardware with their much more durable hardware, the technician was very knowledgeable about what needed done and got the garage door fixed and up and running that day, I am very impressed and if I ever need word done on my garage door in the future, I will be calling Precision Door Service.
