Technician was out within 1 days of our broken spring. Spring was under warranty and absolutely free . Door works great One thing to note to everyone. Make sure to have your receipt from the door installation or last repair . Would have cost $1,000 if I didn’t have it .

For the record, I would like to express my profound dissatisfaction with today’s service call. There was nothing done to test/confirm root cause for my garage door not working. Technician simply repeated what I told him (that I thought it was most likely a main circuit board issue) then proceeded to quote installation of new system. Basic LiftMaster system quoted at over $1K installed retails for less than $250. While I fully expect to pay more to have a professional do the installation for me, $1K is simply outrageous. I feel $500 installed would be more than fair. But not $1K+. I feel abused for paying $100+ service fee for a 15min visit from a technician that did not add any value other than presenting an abusive quote for system replacement. Call me is you care. I give your company technician a Five Start review. He was great! Had been to my house two years prior and had solved that problem. He looked at this new garage door problem. Then, explained what needed repaired and presented me with two options on how it could be repaired. I chose to replace the door motor, in that door, since the doors were replaced in 2013. He also checked my other door and gave it a thumbs up saying motor was still working. Thank you for great service!

The technician showed up ahead of schedule. He was able to troubleshoot and tried to reprogram the keypad unsuccessfully. Had a matching keypad on his truck and was able to install and successfully get the garage to open with the selected PIN number. He exceeded my expectations in resolving my issue. Kudos to Michael.

Overall, an unsatisfactory experience. Second tech (Chris) arrived at the scheduled time after the original tech (Evan) tried to come two hours earlier than agreed. Although he was respectful, Chris gave me an original estimate of $950+ to replace two springs and a bracket. When I declined, came back with a $600+ estimate, which I also declined. Came back a third time with an estimate of $449, which I accepted. Agreed to accept their coupon of $15 off, only to tell me at the end that he could not accept it because he had already applied a coupon. No coupon had been applied, only the three estimates. Not a good way to do business. Give the customer a fair estimate and don't play games. Unfortunately, cannot recommend your company. I only gave two stars because the tech was courteous and the work was completed in a timely manner. Garage door appears to be working well. Will be writing a Google review as well.

The original quote you received was a repair that could take care of all the worn parts on your garage door. When you declined the service, the technician began to give you options where some parts were taken away to get the price down, but allow the door to still function as a partial repair. It in no way was meant to seem as if we were playing games with the price, or give you the impression of poor business practices. I was impressed with the entire process with Precision Door. The individual that came to look at our garage and help us select new doors was extremely helpful and friendly. The replacement of the existing doors was done in a very professional and careful manner. They took the time to get everything installed correctly and were very detail oriented. It was Saturday on Memorial Day Weekend. My garage door would not open. I called other repair services but they could not respond until Tuesday or Wednesday. I called Precision Garage Door of Raleigh after lunch on Saturday. They promised a repairman Sunday afternoon after 2 pm. The serviceman came just as promised and had my door functioning better than ever within two hours. Greg was not only prompt, but he was also very polite. He was knowledgeable and efficient. He explained what had happened and told me exactly what had to be done to make the repair. He presented the bill with a complete explanation of the repair. My garage door is not only repaired but it quieter than it has ever been. I am very pleased and grateful to get my garage door repaired in such a short time.
