First let me start by saying, Miguel was very friendly and helpful. However, when he arrived and fixed what he said was the problem; it ended up being something else. It's my impression when a technician is called out to detect a problem with a garage opener that all parts are checked to see if its working problem to get to the core of the problem. He fixed the chain but it came back off again 15 minutes after he left. Perhaps in the future moving forward, this particular problem should be tested 3 times before leaving the premises. On the other hand, it ended up that I needed a new opener. I could've taken that money and applied it to the original problem. When I asked Miguel to bring this to the company's attention, they refused to apply it. Yes, the service fee to come out was waived but what good did it do me when the main problem was not detected in the beginning? It would be nice for Precision techs to cover all bases in order to determine what the real problem is before charging their customers.
