The technician, Paul Lewis, gave me a call when he was on the way to let me know that he would be at my house in 15 minutes and he was right on time. He was very quick to figure out the problem with the Genie screw drive trolley, he replaced it and greased the screw drive and completed the job within about 30 minutes. They were on time. The inspection was thorough and after 19 years of service the moving parts (roller, bearings, cables, etc.) were badly worn. Also, the operator (opener) was also 19 years old. What triggered the visit was a broken door spring. All options were presented along with the associated costs. Given the situation I opted for repair of the door moving parts and a new operator. The repair/ replacement was done within 2 hr. The tech was professional, outgoing , efficient, and skilled. Now everything works quietly which is import for us since the garage is under the living room. Also, the components are warranted for as long as I own the home. Very satisfied with the work and the experience.

If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. Our garage door starting making a horrible noise that could be heard a mile away. I called Precision as it was the 1st company that popped up on Google, same day service, and the reviews were solid. Joe showed up right on time, diagnosed the issues, and provided me with 3 HONEST options. Decided to go with the belt driven motor due to the warranty. Luke was very nice, personable, and knowledgeable, He went through every item that was a problem, and very item that was ok. He described in detail each of the three plans, and what exactly would be done with each plan. He balanced the garage door, lubricated it, and installed a new opener that is remarkably quite, along with bringing the installation up to code with the electric eyes. I called Precision Door @ 10AM and they schedule to have a technician come out between 5 and 7 PM same day. Technician called me @ 5PM and said he will arrive at 6 pm, and he did. Job was done quickly and accurately. I would definitely recommend this business.

The service person showed up and told me the repairs were going to be expensive and I should just replace everything. I asked him to put the estimates in writing. He charged me for a service call, did no repairs and did not send me the estimates. I'm going with a different company.
