Broken Garage Door Spring Repair

Spring snapped at 9am, phoned Precision at 9:40 and got a window for repair from 2 to 6pm. Phillip arrived at 2pm and did the spring replacement in about 40 minutes. Couldn't ask for better service. Timely and efficient. Phillip was very courteous and professional. Even explained the whole process and gave tips on lubricating the door. Definitely recommend Precision for garage door repair.

Online “garage door repair” brought up Precision, Aptos, and family owned 18 years and showing a 5-star rating. It was Friday but Phillip came out within 3 hours. When he said uh-oh I knew he would be there awhile. The springs had broken and a chain was dangling. He patiently explained everything as he went along and he fixed it all, even repaired the motor rather than have me buy a new one. My husband and I are so grateful he could finish before the weekend! Nice guy, too. Thanks, Phillip!

Our older garage door became stuck in the open position on a Saturday night. We called Precision, based on their ranking on a website. Surprisingly, I spoke to someone when I called, and the appointment was set for the next day--Sunday, from 8-12. the technician, Cory Wickstrom, called at 8:00 and was at our house at 9. He explained the problems thoroughly, provided options, and answered all of our questions. He didn't try to scare us into taking the most expensive option. Rather, he went over the pros and cons, and let us make up our mind. We did choose the comprehensive replacement of motor, springs, rollers and bearings. Cory did a great job installing, and working around other work that was going on at the same time. We are extremely pleased with the results. Other than the panel itself, which was fine, we have a brand new door that operates smoothly and quietly. I would wholeheartedly recommend Precision Door Service.

Wow! So I backed out of my garage with the back of my SUV still up. Oops. My garage door was so old anyway, I might have unconsciously rammed it just to get one of those beautiful new ones. I have worked in construction for over 30 years and use to know every contractor around... but no more. So I took to the internet. The first company up was Precision Garage Doors- with a beautiful website and an online build your own garage door spot! Fantastic. Still checked out at least 5 or 6 other companies but knew I was going back to Precision. I bought the most BEAUTIFUL garage door ever!!! I absolutely LOVE it. If I could give it a hundred stars I would! So, I ordered it, and the day after that it was installed. How is THAT for service? I am still in shock over how quick it all went!!! I was honored to have THE BEST installation team possible. David Gonzales, along with Chris Valdez whom David was training, not only showed up when they said they would, they were very professional, cordial, and knew their job!!! Both guys were very pleasant to talk to and though they weren't chewing gum you just knew they could and walk at the same time! It is hard in the construction field to get a job to run that smoothly but they were sailing as they put that spectacular door up! Precision Garage Doors, David Gonzales, and Chris Valez, know that you are loved and oh so appreciated! I don't take anything for granite these days but boy was I ever blessed with this experience! We usually call Sears who were the original installers of our door but after getting the run around, we called Precision. They were prompt, upfront with the cost, professional, and knowledgeable. Cory and Ahrash had our garage door repaired plus suggested two design improvements to increase longevity which was included in the original quote for just the repair. I highly recommend their services.
