We had our broken spring replaced which means two of coarse. Work was done quickly and professionally. The installer new his business and pleasantly helped me move several items to access the areas needed. He also helped me put them back. Thank you Precision Garage Door. Total time less than an hour and no extra charge for News Years day service. Very pleased

Was told the technician would call when he was on his way, never did. I was told I'd get a call with the estimate ( because I was at work and daughter was there) and I never did. The one time I spoke with the technician is when i called my daughter to see how it was going , and technician said I needed new rollers too, and still never gave me a estimate. Work was done well, but a bit expensive

We were quoted a price on the phone that was quite different than the price when the technician was finished. I spoke to the technician who told me they would adjust to the quote when the owner returned from vacation. No one sent a refund so I called and spoke to the owner who actually had my conversation recorded so he could hear for himself of the price quote. Instead of offering to bring the price down to the original quote, he removed a labor charge. It is still more money than we expected to pay. Our spring was changed and now our very quiet garage door is noisy. They said there is nothing they can do about it.

Shawn Rourke came out promptly and sold us a NEW opener for our garage. The previous one had lasted 30+ years, and finally gave out. We would like Shawn to come out again as the demo he gave my wife worked perfectly well, but after he left, we could not get it to operate. Maybe a glitch in the system, or it does not like it's new home!

Technician arrived promptly, was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. Offered three options to fix (1) garage springs -(2) include roller/drum -(3) include cables and bearings. Since I knew it was all 25 years old I thought option 3 was the best way to go.

Spring on roll up door broke on Memorial day weekend. I called Precision Door Service of Hayward and James came right out. He was fantastic. Clear communications and excellent work. Repair tech, Alex, was knowledgeable about our 20 year old Lift-Master chain-drive garage door opener, quickly diagnosed the worn plastic gear as the source of the problem, and recommended the lowest cost solution (replace the gear). Alex courteously answered all my technical questions regarding modern alternative product features that I had seen for digital door opener systems sold at online (hardware store) websites. I decided to stick with our existing technology. Alex then expertly installed the replacement gear, adjusted the chain tension, lubricated the door hinges, and retrained our remote controls. I was pleased by the response speed, final cost, and professional expertise demonstrated during the whole business transaction.

I say the service was excellent! On time, efficient, and courteous. I'm just a little disappointed at the cost of the torsion springs. Since I am unable to purchase springs from a local retail store, and only from online, I was stuck where I needed to utilize an installer. Good quality and such, just a little high for a project I could've easily accomplished myself.

The technician who arrived was on time, called before he came and completed the work quickly and cleanly. He demonstrated many times that the garage door worked for me and answered all of my questions. Excellent service. On the office end, however.... I had originally scheduled an appointment the day before from 10pm-12pm. I waited up and then called at 10:30pm as I had not heard from anyone. The receptionist said that there was a "scheduling error" and that no one could come out at the assigned time. Had I not called, I would have waited in vain until midnight. She did say that the office does not call customers, only the technicians. I would definitely revise this practice!!

Fantastic service! The spring on my garage door had broken 'sealing' a car inside. Arrived an hour after I called at 7PM. Had the entire thing fixed in an hour.

I called Precision because they were available on a holiday weekend! Brandon arrived rih ht on time evaluated the situation and arranged to do the job the next day with Nothr r technician Male. Both were professional and proficient. My problem is with the cost which is twice as much as the company we'd used before who called back the first business day after holiday.

Each time my door opened I feared that it would fail - it made SO much squeaking and grinding noise! My garage door was installed in 1997, and ALL of wear items needed replacement. (Springs, bearing plates, pulleys & cables, and rollers.) It is now as quiet as can be! Wonderful change and worth the cost; especially given the 5-year warranty!
