I am a former customer who was satisfied with door replacement on my home so l felt confident to reccomend them to my elderly mother in law for minor repair work on her door the just needed a new remote. She lives alone and l was not present. She was convinced that she needed repairs that were not necessary. Had l been present these unnecessary repairs would not have happened. I am really disappointed in this company now. I feel they took advantage of an elderly woman. Not sure at this point what will happen next but l definitely won't reccomend this company again. Precision Door is excellent. Let me say that I am in CT, and my aunt is in FL, and it was my aunt's door that needed replacing. Precision Door came the day they were called to give estimates, and even helped close the current garage door that was damaged. They then moved very quickly from initial contact to actual full replacement, even assisted with clearing out garage. Job was done, from initial inspection to full completion, within two weeks, and this included the time needed for Precision Door to order and receive the double-wide door needed. Wish they were in CT!

I felt pressured into making repairs (new springs, cables, bearings, etc. at cost north of $500) that I don’t feel were necessary on garage doors that are 3 years old. I eventually asked the tech to get my opener operational and that’s all I was in market for today. He did that and only charged me for service call. Just wasn’t experience I expected when I called for repair of my opener.

5 Stars!!!!! I chose Precision based on the reviews and the fact you answered the phone, a few of your competitors didn’t answer when I called them. Great experience from start to finish. I originally had my service scheduled for a Saturday, you called asking if I would mind an earlier day, which I was happy to do. Your technician Alex called to let me know he was on his way, showed up, listened to my explanation of what was going on with my garage door. He performed an inspection and presented 3 options for me to chose from for the needed repairs and the differences between them. He was professional, courteous and patient in explaining everything. What a great sevice experience, never have I ever had this level of service experience in all my dealings with any service organization. Alex is the best, I have written his name with a permanent marker on the sticker he left on the inside of my garage door so I will know who to ask for in the future. Great 5 star experience.

I had a technician come out to my house and charge my fiance $900 to repair the track of my garage door and to reinforce it. Shortly after my garage door started lifting up on it's on after we let it down. This happened for several days. We called and had him come back out to see what the issue was. He tried to charge my fiance $600 to get the keypad replaced and fixed. I Googled the keypad and it's $50 or less. I youtubed how to fix it and it was 4 easy steps.

In less than less 18 hours from the time of my call to a new garage door motor and replacement. He did a full inspection then went over his inspection in terms I could understand. He gave me my different options. I picked the option I wanted. He had everything he needed in his truck so I didn’t have to make another appointment to get the job done.
