On October 8, immediately after the passing of Hurricane Mathew we attempted to raise our garage door. When opening the door it lurched upward which caused it to derail. I placed a call to Precision who were quick to answer our call and advised that a technician would arrive at our residence in short order. Andrew arrived and conducted an inspection of the door and advised that most of the moving parts were worn. We discussed our options and Andrew repaired the door. The workmanship was superb and the cost of the repair was reasonable. Without the quick response by Precision, our door could have been in disrepair for several days leaving our home extremely vulnerable to the outside elements.

As usual Precision was excellent. The technician called to let me know he was on his way. He arrived by the appointment time. He was very pleasant and did a thorough job. Andrew arrived on time and in very short order he had my remote control sun bed with the garage door opener...he also enabled my car remote control to control the garage door. Andrew did a complete inspection of my garage door mechanical systems and made recommendations for future replacements of items showing some wear. These folks deserve more than 5 stars! They came right away, in uniform, even called to let me know they were on the way. They assessed the problem with my garage door and explained my options - clear explanation and not pushing me one way or another. Both men were clean, well-spoken, and professional. I could tell they knew their business. My door was repaired quickly and they cleaned up after themselves. They even helped me solve a problem I was having with my car opener. I found Precision in the yellow pages and I sure am glad that I did. The tech arrived on time and was very professional and polite. After his initial inspection, he recommended a few upgrades beyond fixing my broken spring. I was skeptical at first, but the tech did a great job explaining and showing me the differences and quality of the new parts. I decided to upgrade my rollers, drums and cables and what a difference. My door is now running much more smoothly and is much quieter. The bearings they use are all sealed and the parts are engineered to handle much bigger doors so they should last a long time. Great service, quality parts, awesome result. I would highly recommend Precision for any garage door needs.

Last night as I closed the garage door, it landed with a thud. I knew something was wrong, but waited until morning to call for service. After doing a bit of online research, I called Precision Door Service. The call center was quick to answer and I easily scheduled an appointment. Within 2-hours a technician was at our door. He was well-spoken, personable and professional. He evaluated the problems and gave me the information I needed to make a decision that fit my needs and my budget. He completed the work in a timely fashion, cleaned up the area and went over the work he had done. The garage door now easily opens and closes.
