He called prior to arriving and arrived on time, I previously had replaced the overhead spring a little over a year ago with another garage company however one of the two springs had already broken. I must say that I didn't expect to have to replace the garage door opener. I thought it could be repaired. As it turned out, I had to have a new garage door opener installed. It ended up costing more than I was expecting. My only other option was to pay for the service call, buy a new opener at Home Depot or Lowe's and still have to get it installed. That would also have a limited warranty. I opted to have Jose' the service man install a new opener. He was very professional and knew his job well. He was very pleasant to deal with cleaned everything up after the installation. The new opener, parts, and labor came with a lifetime warranty. I only wish that there was a way to tell a customer if their opener could be repaired or not. There is a big difference in price between repairing or buying a new opener.

The technician was personable. Came out August 2nd, Could not find the cause of problem. No repair. The same problem occurred on August 4th, had to call another contractor to analyze problem. The AD was misleading. He should have found cause of problem. Fee was paid.

Our technicians provide a 25-Point Safety inspection on every door. Then they provide our customers with permanent solutions to repair all items that failed our inspection. We feel your door needed more work than just replacing the springs and lubing the door. Our suggested repairs came with a 10-Year Warranty. Although we were not able to repair your door we appreciate the opportunity.

Bill came and gave us an estimate on replacing an old garage door and opener. He was informative and gave us the prices and what was available. We requested estimates from three different door companies Precision was not the cheapest of the three estimates that we got but we felt it was the most honest and price wise was in the middle. I've been requesting an update regarding a service call that was done in my home exactly a month ago. A part had to be special ordered, which would take a couple of weeks, which is understandable. For the past 2 weeks I have called 4 separate times trying to get an update and every single time I have had the same response from their customer service drones telling me that they're in a corporate office and do not have updates on service calls. Every single time the rep states that she has left a message for the manager of the office that handled my call and she guaranteed that I would get a call back. So far, this has not happened which is quite frustrating. I wouldn't really make a big deal about this and could probably find another company with better service, however I have already paid for half of the service which is unfortunate becuase now due to being ignored as a paying customer, not only for this call, but a previous one with a cost of almost $900!, I feel that the only recourse I have is to pay a visit to their local office in Riverside and speak to the franchise owner Dawn to request a refund. This lack of follow through from management is unacceptable and shouldn't be tolerated by the owner, management and most importantly, me, the customer. To any potential customers, think twice before calling Precision, you're experience take the se turn mine did.
