Precision Door Your folks were courteous, and the final products (door springs) were installed and solved the problems However, For a company that advertises quick service the job took more than month. Project 36997355 Estimate number(s) 36996523 Invoice Date 10/25/2023 Completed Date Communications was poor: Your company used the wrong phone number when responding. The correct phone number was on file with the secretary (confirmed). When I called with concerns, the response was that I did not answer answer the phone or call back. (implication... customer problem) Several Miscommunications regarding the status us of the parts leading to false expectations on project completion. No one seemed concerned during the process

We were having intermittent problems opening & closing our garage door for a few years--using the keypad, our vehicle openers, and control panel. [We had a low-cost Genie system installed about 8-9 years ago.] We were always able to rectify the problem (somehow). However, yesterday morning (5/11/22) we had a problem closing the garage door again--no matter what method we tried. After a couple hours of troubleshooting attempts, we finally gave up. I found Precision Door Service online and called them about 7PM last night. And, true to their website, I was able to reach a live person--even at that late hour. She scheduled a technician to come out today (5/12/22) between 12PM and 2PM. The tech/Jared called when he was enroute and arrived about 1PM. After a thorough examination, he was unable to determine the cause of the problem--as the electric eye and wiring were intact. So, it might have been a control panel issue. [And, of course, the door starting working again.] Rather than go through the frustration and uncertainty of not knowing when the door would stop working again, we opted to have Jared install a new LiftMaster system. He had it up and running in a little over an hour. He then took the time to explain in detail how it worked and asked if I had any questions. Very straightforward operation. Jared was friendly, professional, and efficient. Although the system is a bit pricey, it's got a lifetime warranty and we won't have to worry about garage door issues again. We are very satisfied customers!

The response time was incredible fast and I appreciate that. The Technician was nice and even replaced a bulb that was burned out while he was up there at the unit. He also gave me some good tips about not using LED bulbs with this system, because they put out a little bit of interference that can cause the door to work erratically.

I made the call to your company for my daughter after a very thorough web research. Was surprised at how meticulous Jeff the technician was. I knew what the problem was but didn't know how to repair and it was very evident that Jeff had seen this situation a few times and knew exactly what needed to be done. I was very pleased with the response I got from Precision to my loosing my garage door opener. I really missed it, and didn't have to wait too long before I got a replacement.
