Precision was recommended by my neighbor for Garage door opener service. My 24 year old Liftmaster gave out and it was time to replace rather than repair due to all the improvements in modern units. Technician Dustin was on time as scheduled and did a fantastic job with the install. He programmed my remotes and keypad [way faster than I could have figured out], plus walked me through setting up the wifi functions with the MyQ app. The new Liftmaster unit is much quieter and an all around winner! I really like the new features and plan to call Precision again when my other unit finally dies.

Unfortunately you guys did not meet expectations except for the fact that you came at the scheduled time. The technician was polite but seemed unprepared to give us an estimate on a new garage door. He tried to call for support and information but there was no back office support available. He seemed to be an installer and not a representative. Basically nothing was accomplished except for a price on a garage door motor which was significantly more than our other bid. You should be clear with customers that the person coming out can't do a proper estimate.

I chose Precision from listening the commercial about their service. I wanted to try a different company. I was pleased with the service. The technician, Ryan Hudson, arrived on time, introduced himself, examined the garage door and explained what his findings were. He thoroughly explained our options which made it easy for us to make a decision after he had answered all of our questions. My service was not that urgent but charged as an emergency rate($240). (99%) of the repair was Labor which took about one hour. The only parts needed was 2 roller wheels on rails which should cost less than $30 together. Do you charged a hourliy rate and how much? The technician seemed to have done a good job but the price was excessive. I will shop around the next time for better price. The total charge was $338.00.

We've reviewed your invoice, quote, and reason for the requested service. Your door wouldn't open as it was off track and not operable. The service the technician provided was to make your door operable again, a tune up on the door, rollers and a remote. He did not charge you for the rollers, or remote and provided you with a senior discount and customer satisfaction discount. You are correct that not a lot of parts were required for your service, but the price covers his labor, time, insurance, gas, vehicles, etc that is required to run a reputable business. You were not charged an emergency rate as your appointment was scheduled during regular business hours, and your invoice should reflect that. We do not charge hourly rates, we charge for the service provided which is discussed with you in detail before the work is started. If you have any other questions regarding your service or bill, please don't hesitate to call and speak with our service manager. Thank you for your business and we're always here when you need us.
