240601’- Precision Garage Doors - Review I am EXREMELY pleased with the entire experience. Everyone with whom I dealt was friendly, professional, and delivered wonderful customer service. (Something that is extremely rare these days.) I was surprised by how quickly an appointment was scheduled and how quickly Jack got back to me with a quote. Also, Jack was very good about taking prompt about taking my calls and handling my request promptly. I was amazed at how quickly Jack was able to get the installation scheduled and completed. We were having the house painted and only realize a few days before the schedule date, that the door should be replaced. It was absolutely unreasonable to expect that the installation could be scheduled in our timeframe, but to my surprise, Jack made it happen! I was not present during the installation, but those present were EXTREMELY complimentary of the tech. Just a few of the superlatives were fast, profession and seeming very experienced. A direct quote is that "the guy was a f**king beast!" ;-) Lastly, the quality of the door was far better than I could have imagined. (Not only is good customer service rare these days, so is product quality.) I hated that in modern rating system, anything less than a 5-star review is considered a slight, so I just wanted to say that Precision exceeded expectations in every way and they have type of employees that any business should cherish. I would give them more stars if I could and an assured A+!

I've used Precision for years. Today, I needed a spring replaced. The tech gave me a price of $360 for one. Both would have been $720. I explained that I had a coupon for a free service call and that I was prior military. I asked him if there was a service charge and he said there wasn't. When I received my invoice, he had given me a $40 discount for military, but charged me $20 for "fleet transportation", which it seems to me is just a different way of saying service call charge. The tech was a nice guy and arrived on time. Your pricing is ridiculous. I contacted Banko and was given a price of $295 for 1 spring or $395 for both. I'll be using them from now on.

It’s unfortunate how this business has gone from serving its customers and doing solid work to instead focusing on up-selling and trying to take advantage of people they know need to have issues taken care of in order to get back to normal. I would make the suggestion that you have a separate sales and service force. Very sad to find out what should have cost under $900 to repair was actually priced at $1600 along with the up-sell items bring the total quote to almost $5000. We have a business that relies on servicing customers and it always saddens me to see businesses with so much potential lose sight of their customers and instead worry about big ticket sales. I appreciate the quick response to my repair request but in the end it just did not make sense to spend that kind of $. Very unlikely we will call Precision in the future.
