I normally do not write reviews, however, this experience was so exceptional I needed to let future customers know if they need repairs, a new garage door, a new garage door opener, or anything else related to your garage door, please consider Precision Garage Door because you won't be sorry. The tech to ask for is Patrick Leahy. This gentleman was so knowledgeable, thorough, patient, kind, explained ever detail of what was wrong, what solutions and options were available to me, and recommended what I could wait on for another 6 months to a year, and what really needed to be done right now. He made sure I understood everything he had explained, and answered every question I had. I felt absolutely confident with my decisions. If there were more than 5 stars, I would give Precision Garage Door and Patrick Leahy the highest rating. I highly recommend this company!!!

Note: more than springs replaced but that option is missing. Mr. Leahy was an outstanding repairman. Not only did he know how to analyze my problem he was able, and willing, to communicate clearly the problem and solution to me. After the repair was done he made certain that I saw parts that represented the issues he had noted. While I did not observe him throughout his job, whenever I did appear he was working diligently and safely. I believe I noted the door being made secure at one point to assure his own safety. I was fully satisfied by his work and the total response by Precision. Thank you.

The young man that came out yesterday is exceptional, he is the same person who put my motor in a few weeks/months ago. They called earlier in their appointment window to tell me they were running late and gave me a new arrival time. Mario and Ian arrived, assessed the situation and gave me a quote to replace my unit. Travis performed a complete rebuild of my 19 year old garage door; rollers, springs, cables, bearings and new belt drive garage door opener. Travis was professional and knowledgeable in his work. The quality of work was excellent. Travis was on time and pleasant. The entire job was well performed. I typically use diamond certified companies because quite frankly I have never had a bad experience with any service from a Diamond Certified Company. We have used Precision Garage Door Service for many years with different issues. This time we had the arm that holds the door opener to the door fall off as bolts worked their way out. We decided to replace the garage door opener as it was old and worn. We needed a couple of parts and we were told this opener had a backup battery and right after he left I pulled the car back into the garage and the power went out. The technician who came, (sorry, I forgot his name) was excellent. Very accommodating to my special circumstances, extremely kind and professional. He was GREAT! He came on Tuesday the 10th of this month. However, the charge for this minimal service was over the top. This is not the technicians fault. This is Precision's charges and policy. He lubed the door and was here for a short time and it cost 223 dollars. Extreme. I do not think I would use your company again or recommend you. Again, the technicial was great and I hope you pass that on to him. It is your charges that are too high.

I called to have a technician come out to free up my garage door because it had wedged to the point I could not open or shut it in order to just get my car out of the garage. Joshua came out, and although courteous, said I needed new springs and pulleys costing close to $900. I found that extremely excessive since I didn't need those items just to open my door. I told him that was not what I called for. He agreed to simply put the rollers back on the track, but he could not physically raise the door manually for company liability reasons. I had to have a friend help raise the door manually. Telling me I needed parts that were not required and which I didn't request was attempting to take advantage of someone. That, along with being charged $399 to simply put the door on track, then not even assist in the raising of the door was not what I call good business.

Wow, I called Precision Door at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday and at 12:20, James Walker arrived. He did call ahead of time, so I knew when to expect him. I had a broken spring, bad bearings and rollers and voila 45 minutes later, I had a working garage door. James was extremely friendly and explained everything he had to do and showed me the parts that were bad. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend Precision Door. It also comes with a 7 year warranty!
