I had my garage door replaced by Precision before, so when I had an issue I called Precision again. Stering Griggs came to look at my problem. He came with a very pleasant and courteous attitude. After inspection he gave me the options of what could be done and I decided to replace the door and opener. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Definitely an asset to your company.

I called to get 1 broken spring fixed on my garage door, When the repair person arrived i showed him the broken spring. He told me i needed 2 new springs, new side door rollers, 2 new cable drums and new cables and i needed my opener motor tuned up. I was quoted between $285 to $300 on the phone so that's why I agreed to have him come out and was told the service call would be $69.99 but cut in half if i used them for the repair. His first estimate was $1400! I told him i only wanted the springs repaired and he said he would not it unless I replaced the drums and cables for $960 as he said they were wore out and the bearings were bad. He never opened the door or even touched the parts he said were bad. Needless to say I told him no thank you and he asked for the payment for the service call that I did pay. I called another company and they replaced both springs for $380! I called Precision to complain about my estimate and the service call payment I made for the unfair estimate as I believed I was baited and switched when the repairman showed up and was told the manager would call me back to discuss the problem. No call back ! Beware and read the 1 star reviews before calling them.

I did finally receive a voice message from Mr Cespedes stating he was sorry for the experience I had and that he was sending me a refund for the service call for $69. It’s been 2 months and I have yet to receive it so I am still very disappointed with this company.

Cory and Rush were great to work with. Cory found the problem with the door right away and fixed it. He took a look at the opener and found issues with that as well. Installed a new opener and the door works like a charm now. All this on a Sunday afternoon to boot.

The technician came doing nothing but asking us to replace the whole motor and rail for $1,500. It turns out we purchased parts at Lowe's for $156 and the installation only cost $110. No rail replacement is needed. We still paid the technician from Precision $50 for nothing he did for us. I don't understand why people gave them 5 star renew. Really bad service, only want money.

Sometimes this means addressing what caused the part to fail instead of just replacing it.
