I needed emergency service on Sunday, September 22, 2024, as I accidentally hit the door with my vehicle. Sadmir Hamzic arrived early and repaired the door in a very short amount of time. I can’t say enough how terrific Precision garage door and opener is. I called after hours Saturday and they fixed my garage door on Sunday afternoon. I had a broken torsion spring. The owner Ron Kull was the service tech for this service call. I bought a Precision garage door belt drive opener in 2017. It has worked flawlessly. Ron installed a new set of torsion springs and then checked to be sure my door was working properly. I am not often surprised by people, but Ron is one of those rare exceptions in my life. He gave me an incredibly generous deal. I am a handicapped veteran that struggles to make ends meet and I will be going to bed tonight with a huge grin on my face. Thank you Ron for your outstanding service and generosity!!!

The technician replaced a broken torsion spring. Since they are replaced in pairs, he replaced the other spring as well. Everything went south from there. One spring is a different diameter than the other. The cables came off the spools. He finally gave up and charged me just for the service call. However I am still stuck with a non-functioning door and 2 different size torsion springs.

We are sorry to hear this customer is not happy with our service provided. We have refunded this customer his service call fee. As the customer noted, he was not charged for the parts used to try to repair his door. We reviewed with our Technician, and he confirmed that the customer needs to replace his garage door and that he recommend total replacement of the garage door to the customer. The customer expressed to our Technician that he is selling the house and really didn’t want to spend that money. Our Technician tried to help him out and do a band-aid repair to a garage door that he should not have tried to repair at all. We have specifically reviewed these details with our Technician.

Precision rep showed up the day we called for estimate;he was friendly, informative, answered all questions.( DAve?, Dan?) Today Phil arrived on time, a friendly, polite young man, assessed the work area and got to work. Interacted with us along the way as we had questions. Finished up in a few hours and cleaned up work area . A supervisor came to help with the heavy window, but otherwise this young man worked by himself, productively and efficiently.
