Had issues with the garage door being heavy to open. Precision Door Service scheduled the appointment, and contacted me day before (to remind me of the appointment), and on the day of service prior to arrival. The Technician was courteous, knowledgeable, and skilled in the garage door installation and repair, including replacement of single spring by dual springs, fine tuning the system, and adjusting the limit switches. The door is now working correctly, and I am very pleased with the work done.

Precision Garage Door's advertisement on the web was very encouraging with the great reviews. We got an appointment very quickly and Corey, the technician was very punctual. He was very nice and professional. We were having a problem with the door not completely closing when using the remote (batteries were perfectly fine). He offered a few suggestions on repairing the garage door. We decided to go with the more reasonable price, due to our current budget. He kindly and quickly repaired it. Thank you very much, Corey! Had a technician come out to tell us we needed a new motor and door. He took measurements then the company lost them so had to have another guy come out to measure. Quote was double what the first technician estimated -- a complete bait and switch. Would never use this company. Big fancy company with their web site but not honorable.

Outrageously expensive! We had the keypad and the 2 sensors replaced. It took the technician about 45 minutes, and the cost was $629.00. I'll use a different company the next time.

Technician misdiagnosed problem with our Genie overhead opener, and indicated problem unattended would cause severe motor damage. Estimate for repair of "trolley" was nearly $300, a part others quote at less than a tenth that amount. This was apparently an attempted scam. We declined the service. (Real issue turned out to be something entirely different.)

I would highly recommend Precision Garage Door to anyone. We had precision install an overhaul kit for our garage door in September of 2011 that included a lifetime warranty. I call them with a request to evaluate a metal screeching noise and they sent a tech out the next day. The tech fixed the problem during the call, and we were only charged a nominal labor charge. All the parts were replaced at no charge.
