I called at about 2pm and Joel arrived by 4pm. He was awesome. He explained everything thoroughly in a way I could understand and expertly fixed / installed a new motor, springs, bar, etc. A complete and necessary overhaul that took him only a few hours. I am amazed I could call during this rainy weather and get someone out the same day, not just to provide an estimate but also to actually perform the repair! Joel was excellent.

Overall a very professional organization. Had 2 other services out to bid and they were both flakey. I was kept informed of the plans/progress by the office. The estimator was very knowledgeable. I have already discussed the minor problems with the GM and he will work on them: 1) the installer did not possess the entire order with special instructions, 2) he did not demonstrate all the control functions saying, "look it up in the manual," and 3) the print in the user manual is very small.

Jerry was great! He came the same day, worked late into the night to finish installing a new garage door opener. He saw that the cables were very frayed and replaced those also. Took extra time to lubricate the hinges and shafts and to explain how to use the new keypad and remotes. Very good service with a smile!

Even though I called on a Sunday night, there was someone there to answer the call and set up an appointment for the next day. It turns out they answer their phone 24/7 which I wasn’t able to find anywhere else. The person who came out to do the work, Mike, was great. I’d been given a window from 1-5 and he was there at 1:15, having called 30 minutes ahead to let me know he was on his way. He identified the problem, explained what work was needed and completed the work quickly. Just as he was about to program the remote, the power went out in my area with PG&E estimating it wouldn’t be back on for 3 1/2 hrs. Mike showed me how to do it, and told me to call him if I had any problems and he’d come back that evening. I definitely recommend Precision.

Not only are they a 24-7 service BUT unlike a plumber or electrician, they don't jack up the prices on a weekend! The service tech was very helpful and within a minute found that all he had to do was reset the main door opener unit. The tough part was paying a surprising $99 for pushing the reset button. This seemed to unusually harsh for a job that took less than a minute.
