Very disappointing. The service representative did little to troubleshoot my garage door opener problem. In fact he went on to tell me the opener was shot and that I needed to go up from a 1/2 horsepower to a 3/4 horsepower motor (hogwash). He went on to say the garage door needed to be replaced. I didn’t take the bait. I called another garage door company. Their service rep took one look at my door and knew exactly what was wrong. He had the opener running properly in one minute. I’ll never dial up Precision Door again. The rep tried to totally rip me off at the tune of $5,000.

We heard great reviews for Precision Overhear Garage Door Service in my area. So we called to get a quote on replacing the overhead spring that broke. And we agreed that we needed a new door too. It has seen better days. So we got the whole thing replaced. We got a great quote and they had everything in stock. They even offered to open the door so I could get my car out. Within a couple of days we were getting a new door and opener. They honor veterans too! Very friendly and helpful staff and workers. We helped the installers stay cool on one of the hottest days, with plenty of water, ice, and even turned on the AC in the garage to help keep them cool. While the installers were here we did have a minor issue with the door not wanting to close at times. Thought we had it figured out, but then it did it again. Peter Dupree helped us out immensely. He came right out when I called and he got it figured out. He told me to call him right away if there are any further issues, even calling the Genie motor company directly and created a ticket for the call. I highly recommend this company. No pressure sales, just honest advice and many options to choose from. We had a outside keypad, so we did purchase a new one in addition to already receiving 2 remotes.

The entire process of acquiring the door for our boat shed was absolutely terrific. Everything that was within the control of Precision was 100% on target; the "supply chain" problem with its delays was another story, but still okay. I was impressed with everyone with whom I spoke to on the phone or in person was great. Honest! Actually, we had Precision repair our two-car garage door spring(s) several months ago, and in October we asked them to intall a door on the old, old, old, (32 years, that is) boat shed.
