I had precision door install a new garage door approx. a year ago. Recently the door was not operating properly and developed a loud sound when closing. I called precision and described the issue. They promptly sent a technician to check it out. He worked on it a considerable length of time until he had corrected the problem and had the door operating properly. As a side note, the tech was conscientious and courteous at the same time explaining what he observed and what needed to be done. Good experience with Precision Door .

Our garage door spring broke last night. Initiated a Precision Garage Door Service chat session a little before 700am today and got a quick response arranging a service appointment between 10am-200pm. As it turned out the Service Technician (Brent) arrived somewhere around 1030am. We live west of Athens, AL. Our immediate problem was repairing the spring, however with Brent I was able to explore all the different options from repairing the spring (and one broken hinge), replacing the garage door opener gear, and all the way to replacing the door. Brent was very knowledgeable about all options I explored, as well as very patient, to address all my questions. In the end, we only replaced the broken spring and hinge; while retaining a preliminary quote for 30 days on a couple options to replace the door. Brent was courteous, professional, and had the spring and hinge repaired in around 30-40 minutes. He also sprayed lubricant on the existing hinges. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door for your immediate garage door needs!!! If we decide to replace the garage door in the future, I will look no further than Precision Garage Door. Wanted a company that has been around for awhile. Needed repair or replacement of my garage door opener that was damaged from a lightning strike to my house on July 21, 2023. Was greatly disappointed that a technician couldn't be scheduled until July 25, 2023. Once started, the job was accomplished professionally and successfully. The logic board and both safety sensors were replaced at a cost of $550.18 (which I deem to be a little bit pricey). The opener now performs perfectly. It was just my bad luck the opener was out of warranty by a few months. I have long held that warranties of expensive items should be longer than one year and at least cover the replacement cost of parts. I would have been more happy if I just had the cost of labor to responsible for.

Justin came to our home, and worked with us to choose new garage doors and openers and get them ordered, to replace the original twenty year old doors that had faded and the openers that had quit working. We were really pleased with our experience with Justin. Very knowledgeable and professional! Recently, we had to call to get one of the doors inspected, because it would occasionally 'trip' and not close on the first attempt. The lady who answered the phone was very pleasant and was very understanding of our issue. Quickly got us on the Service Call schedule for an inspection/visit. Hunter was the Service Tech who arrived to make the adjustments to the door. Friendly and quick to locate the problem. Adjusted the wiring for the motor, and realigned the 'eye' for the opener. AND inspected the 2nd opener, just to be sure the same problem wouldn't occur with that opener. Made the same adjustments on that motor, as well! Thanks for such a thorough job! Definitely pleased with the services of the Precision Door personnel!

Excellent service. Arrived on on time. They found the problem with my garage door making noises. It was a couple of loose nuts and bolts. Decided to do an upgrade on the springs and rollers for a lifetime warranty. Finished the job in less time than quoted and explained everything to me before starting the job.
