The experience booking service and receiving service was all very positive. The two-man team who came to my house called 30 min before arrival to confirm the time, they were very polite, and arrived just as promised. They determined the issue (one of my springs had broken) and told me that I needed new springs at minimum and recommended new pulleys, new wheels and new cable and safety cable. They gave me 3 estimates (good, better and best). I was shocked at the cost! When I called to make an appointment and asked for a basic estimate I was told that there was no way they could give me an idea of price. My time was tight, so I went with it. Basically, I ended up paying over $1000. Now maybe this is just what it costs, but had I been given a rough ball park range of possible costs, I would definitely have Gott en more estimates. It would have given me some peace of mind to know that this is just what these things cost. But as they had already arrived and would charge me $85 for coming, I agreed to proceed. The service was good, the people were. charming and efficient, so all that was positive. My only reservation was that I had no advance warning that this is what it would cost and no way to back out of it without losing my $85 service fee. Yes I recommend them, but first get estimates from other companies before you call this company. It is worth paying a little more for the best, but it is important to know what other companies charge before making that decision.

He assessed the situation, provided me multiple options and ultimately I chose to go with a new opener as mine was 25 years old! Sean didn’t push the products but gave me specific information to help me decide. He’s very knowledgeable and even helped me pair the opener to my car! Good experience with Precision Garage Door. Delivery and installation were as scheduled, door was actually ready 2 weeks in advance. Installers explained the steps, were finished in a timely manner and took the old door away. Door looks and sounds great, staff was professional, cleaned up after and took the time to explain some maintenance. Good experience and value, recommend Precision Garage Door without reservation!
