I wanted a garage door company in Chapel Hill. I found them with a Google search. I called one evening and they set up an appointment for the next day. We had a broken spring as well as some other parts showing wear. Greg showed up at the appointed time. He gave a good and complete explanation of what our options were. He completed the work in a timely manner. He was friendly, courteous and professional. He had all the items he needed on his truck which meant he was able to complete the repair today.

Although I am not pleased that my garage door stopped working, I am very grateful that Precision Garage Door Service was there to help. Precision provided quick service. The technician, Scotty, arrived about 2-3 hours after I put in the request and completed the repairs in about 2 hours. Excellent from start to finish! Lynn listened well, explained what to expect during a service visit and scheduled a visit within twenty-four hours of the call. An email with technician names/photos was provided for verification of identity of service personnel. Richard, the service technician, arrived promptly in the visit window, and was professional and personable. He quickly figured out why the garage door was not working, reviewed costs and pros/cons of various materials needed to fix the issue and took the time to troubleshoot for potential problems. Richard completed the work within an hour, did a thorough maintenance service and provided information on new options for future consideration. We hope not to need garage door-related services anytime soon, but if we do, will definitely use Precision!

A tech was available in less than two hours after we called. He diagnosed the problem quickly, quoted a price and finished in about a half hour. After the parts were replaced he showed us the high quality, rugged parts he used and compared them to the cheap, non-durable parts on the other door. We were pleased with Trevor and the repairs he did.

Justin called ahead, arrived on time, and performed the work quickly (replacing spring and wires ($100!)). That's the good part. Then came the inevitable upsell, which I knew it would, but it had been a particularly expensive month, and I wasn't interested. Sure, I probably need to recondition both sides, but not today. The part that made me mad was that he said he wouldn't guarantee the work because I didn't do the complete upsell. So I will eventually replace all the other parts (and pay the price). But it won't be with Precision.
