We had a dead garage door opener, only two years old that we had paid about $400 for from a big box store. I looked at it for about two hours and concluded that it would only turn the sprocket one way, not allowing the door to open, but needed to have a professional look at it to confirm. We called Precision and they came out the next day. “Grant”, the technician diagnosed our problem quickly and offered suggestions/options, including purchasing one they had on their truck. I knew he was being totally honest and not just trying to sell an expensive opener because he explained the exact same issue I had found with our failed one. The opener was a commercial grade and priced much higher than our original opener, but it was a quality name, with a belt drive and came with a good warranty so we purchased it. Grant and Caleb were very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous throughout the entire service visit. Grant explained the operation of the new unit including the camera features, etc. very thoroughly. We were very pleased and will definitely be calling Precision for any future repairs.
