I called Precision Garage Door in the morning and Tech Andrey Brodskiy came out the same day and installed a complete Lift Master Belt driven Garage Door opener system! He did a fantastic job! Our garage door was left in the down position when the lift arm separated from the plate on the door. We called Precision and they had a service person, Nick Schwinger, out to repair it in a few hours. He repaired the break, serviced the door hinges and rollers and we were back in business in no time. We are very impressed with the prompt response from Precision to our problem. Nick was friendly, very competent and we are completely satisfied with his work.

We chose Precision Garage Door as our neighbor had just used them and had a good experience. The scheduler got us booked for a morning appointment a couple days after I called. Ours was not an emergency but if it had been they offered to have someone out the afternoon I called. I didn't want a technician to have to work in our south facing garage in 100+ temps so I asked for a morning appointment. Patrick Leahy communicated by text when he was on his way which was helpful. Patrick was exceptional at troubleshooting our issue (creaking sounds when the door lifted) and explained what the problem waw and how he knew what it was. Patrick was thorough and commicated in layman's language about the problem and chose to "prove" the issue to us by showing us the wear on the parts. He even explained to us how to change the rollers by ourselves so we could save some money. All in all an excellent experience.

My garage door opens and closes noisily for a while and no lubricant can reduce the noise. Lately it vibrates and does not close or open all the times. Even helping it by lifting or pulling does not work. So I called Precision And they came in 3 hours, immediately pointing to me bulging panels and a twisted guide of the garage door opener. Further inspections showed lot of roller issue, pullers as well as waving anh sagging springs and tensioner. Over time the panels and the guide rollers were worn out and the whole garage door may slide side to side. Ahmed is the technician which showed me the issues and explained to me it functions and which parts I can do myself and which parts I need professional work like the springs and tensioners. He is very meticulous and explained to me all the detail and different type of rollers and its durability. He tried to save me money by give me options for minimal fix to make the garage door working, the midway to change the critical components to make it last a bit longer (a year or two, may be) or an overhaul fix of all critical components to last for more than a few years. He explained the detailed components and costs of each option for me to decide on the quote. As I trust Ahmed expertise and concise explanation, I have decided to do an overhaul as my garage system is about 15 years old. Ahmed finished the job in two hours as Precision have all the parts and materials on their truck. He lubricate and adjust the balance so I can easily lift the garage door with my fingers without much effort and the door stops wherever I stop lifting or pushing manually. It is that good. He left the work site clean. I strongly recommend Precision and Ahmed.

Yesterday, 04/07/24, Precision Garage Door, came to my residence to replace a broken torsion spring. After the tech evaluated the door, besides the torsion spring, he recommended basically all the hardware needed replacement. He advised my 7’ torsion cables really needed replacing and he stated he would cost $310.87 for two wires cables. I checked Home Depot and I can get two cables for under $20.00. He then stated he was not able to use my torsion tube shaft because he was unable to put the torsion springs on the shaft after he attempt to grind down some spots on the torsion tube. The tech asked me if I could get the torsion spring through the shaft in which I got it halfway and hit a high spot. The tech then gave me his Dewalt hand grinder to grind the shaft tub to see if I could get the torsion spring over the rest of the shaft tube. Finally, I had enough and told him I would pay for a new torsion tube shaft even though it was priced at $232.17 which I could get at Home Depot for less than $25.00 as I wanted the tech to finish up and get out my garage. So, as the tech installs the spring over the new torsion tube, he stripped out one the bolts on the left side upper hardware and now has to cut the pipe for the install. You would expect the cut to be 90 degrees but it was a complete hack job. This is a complete joke. I called the dispatch at PGD to see If I could speak with the manager of the tech and was advised someone would call me back. Needless to say, no manager called me back as of this review. The tech did take the price of the torsion tube shaft off the bill but the price of the shaft to begin with was a joke. PGD is overpriced and looking for commission sales. I would not recommend this company.

There is no choice for what was done. What I wanted done repair or to service a loud door, which is what is on your TV ad.

I was told the estimate would be a 1/2 off special for $35 but when the guy came out and gave us crazy estimates double of what any other company charges and trying to charge me for things I did not ask to be done he charged me $69.95 and said only if you hire us. That is very misleading. I was not told that on the phone.
