I called Precision Door Service to review how to repair the damage to the Precision Door door trim caused by backing my car too close to the side of the garage door. Mathew and Bill came within a day and listened to my concerns about matching the existing trim versus a full repair, and also to look at whether there had been other damages to the overall system and whether the changes to the trim would create problems for the overall system. They walked through the full set of potential issues, considered the options and offered the concept of replacing the trim with a color of trim that matched the wood trim around this area. After a short time he replaced the 2 springs which replaced the broken one and matched the the other one to enable a balance of the 2 new ones. He quoted a good pair and the better paired springs of which I chose the better one with a better warranty for a small higher price after he finished the repair Kurt reviewed what he did in detail and worked the door which worked better than ever before.
