Six years ago we purchased two garage doors from Precision Door and all went well. This week three panels needed replacing and nothing went well. After an estimate, they require half the cost to be paid before anything work could be done - this should have been a warning to me! On the day of installation, no one showed up. The next day, after repeated phone calls where each time I was assured that a manager or scheduler would calls back, I finally got a call in the late afternoon rescheduling the installation. When the installer arrived, the wrong size panels had been ordered and installation was again delayed.

I have been extremely pleased with everything Precision Door Service has done for me including both the contact people and the service people. Unfortunately, the attempt today did not solve the problem with my remote controls. Both the service man and I thought he had solved the problem. Everything was working so he left. Problem returned. The contact woman has already scheduled a return visit. Problem is mine and your employees are doing the best they can to help me.

The costs was high, the parts almost 5 times the price of the part based on a quick online search. I will not use them again because of this reason. However, the service was quick and excellent. If their rates were a little more reasonable, I would put this company down as my go to for my home and friends. The labor was only $150, which in my opinion was low. They also tried to charge me 5% for using a credit card. This instantly upset me because I know most card companies would never charge over 3% at the max and they are using this as a profit center. This is ridiculous. Credit charges are expenses of the business and should not be charged back to customers and certainly not as a profit center.
