I had a technician come out to my house and charge my fiance $900 to repair the track of my garage door and to reinforce it. Shortly after my garage door started lifting up on it's on after we let it down. This happened for several days. We called and had him come back out to see what the issue was. He tried to charge my fiance $600 to get the keypad replaced and fixed. I Googled the keypad and it's $50 or less. I youtubed how to fix it and it was 4 easy steps.

On our first visit we didn’t repair the track, but rather we put reinforcements on your door and overhauled your it with new springs, drums, bearings, rollers and cables. When we came back out and found your operator was struggling, we provided a quote for a new operator. We’ll use this as an opportunity to train our technicians to communicate more clearly.
