The issue was that the garage door would not return to the set position, and would bottom out and reopen. The service technician arrived on time after calling first. He was very friendly, and knowledgeable about their equipment. After discussing options, it was decided to replace our 1/2 hp Linear unit with a 3/4 hp Genie belt drive. The installation was completed in an hour and a half, and that included setting up the remotes, mounting the outside keypad, replacing the safety eyes, and adjusting the spring tension. I was very pleased with the experience!
