PRECISION GARAGE DOOR SERVICE OF JUPITER

I have used Precision three times now and each time they have been professional, timely, and courteous in their response. The reason for 4 stars in my opinion is value. I find it a remarkable coincidence that the parts used only carry a two year warranty, and yet somehow they seem to fail just after the two years have past. I guess these manufactures have really figured it out. Secondly, after I or anyone has to replace or fix their garage door out of necessity because something broke, please don't have the repairmen hand over the ipad with multiple tipping options anywhere from 10-25% for a 1-2 hour job. I appreciate the man's hard work and his time, and probably would tip him accordingly, but why is a company that is established and as well known as you are allowing this. It's putting the customer in an awkward position to feel like they have to give an extra ($68 - $171 dollars in my case as a thank you). It's not like I had a choice and I'm ordering steaks. It's not right. Precision should consider a better way of handling this in my opinion.

As my garage door opened I heard a snap and saw that one side of the arm holding the garage door had sprung a bolt. I called Precision and was told they would have someone over to repair it within 2 hours. Tyrone came about an hour later and performed a Tune-Up Special. I was amazed with their Customer Service as typically companies today lack in Customer Service. I opted to have a new motor as mine was quite old. Tyrone explained the complete installation. He took the time to make sure I knew how to operate the system, change codes, etc. What an asset he is to Precision! I am very satisfied with Tyrone and Precision and will definitely continue using them as needed.

I am new to the area and use reviews to make choices for services. My garage door spring broke on Sunday and I immediately thought I am in trouble. It was quite a challenge for my wife and I to lift that door without the spring assistance. I had to get the cars out so not to feel trapped. I found Precision online and saw they had seven day service. Being from NY thought this would cost a first born. So I set up an appointment 12-2 and the tech William came about 12:20. He gave me his assessment and I agreed to basically rebuild the door. An 1.5 hour latter he was finished and the door seems quieter. It was not inexpensive but I thought fair for same day Sunday service. Kudo’s to Precision I am already passing out their cards. Oh my tech William was on the ball. I am a retired machinist and appreciate a skilled tech. He knew exactly what to do and he had the coolest spring winding tool. I love special tools and wished I had invented it. Great experience. Salesman was knowledgeable and not high-pressure at all. Honest about some of the extra cost items and helped lower the cost of my order. I'd give Precision 5-stars but the price was a bit higher than expected. My garage door order arrived 5 weeks earlier than planned. Scheduling the installation was easy. On the day of installation, the crew notified me they'd be a bit late but showed up and completed the install as advertised. Hooked up my existing garage door opener, tested everything, went over all maintenance requirements - very thorough. Highly recommended.
