Honestly, I chose Precision Garage Door because they answered their phone. The company I dealt with before answered their phone with a recording, then wait time, then just hung up, twice, so they lost about $1600. I am very happy that I called Precision. They offered same-day service, but I had to go to work, so they came out early the next day (today). I thought they would look around, poke at a few things, then give me some outrageous take-it-or-leave-it quote. I am a 73 YO female homeowner who is used to businesses trying to scam me, so I was on alert. But a very nice Nick came out within the 2-hour time frame. He was respectful, not condescending. He showed me what was wrong, inspected the entire system, took pics, then gave me 4 options on how to proceed (I took Opt #3). I am very impressed. Precision Garage will be my go-to company from now on. Just as long as they answer their phone with a real person. One more very important thing, they come to Nevada, TX where most companies fear to tread. Keep up the good work, guys/gals. And keep Nick.

I purchased a new keypad and remote and he programmed them for me-even my car feature to open the door. I was surprised there was a $20. Fuel fee to come out to my home for the service. I paid over $300. For service-why the fuel fee?

Precision garage door repairman (Chris) provided excellent customer service. He explained how to manually open the garage door if there’s a power failure. We had a power outage and I tried to manually open the door and it was engaged and caused major damage to the door. Therefore, I needed a replacement door. The ETA was adequate and the time frame that was given for repairs was adequate. Chris did a great job.

Friday 05/24/24 damaged garage door. Non-functional. Called Overhead door at 2:00PM. Got a VM telling me to leave a message but closed after noon on Friday thru the weekend. Available to come out for an emergency ($). Called them yesterday, Saturday, no answer, same VM. Found Precision Garage door this morning (Sunday). Texted them at 10:00AM. Technician Nick arrived 11:45AM. Garage Door fixed/repaired, in great working order. No upcharge, no service fee. Very reasonable price. More than satisfied.

Awful service. Seemed to be nice and helpful upfront, but tried to tell me I would need a whole new opener and rails for 1800. We got a second opinion on this and the other garage door company solved the problem in less than ten minutes only costing us $75. Thankful I didn’t go with this company’s advice.

The person who came out was friendly and knowledgeable and helpful However, I have been told by SEVERAL people how much I was overcharged for the service (installation of two springs on our two car garage - we only had one spring which was broken) I was told afterwards by several people that I probably didn't need all the additional work that was done (over $1,000 worth) and I could have gotten a completely new garage door with everything for that price! ...

When I called for someone to repair my garage door because the cable had broken and the door was open and I couldn't close it, the lady I spoke with was very understanding and said someone could be there that afternoon between 2 and 4 pm. The repair man came and examined the door and told me what he needed to do and how much it would cost and immediately started to work on it. He was very courteous and answered any questions I had. The technician came out to repair the chain on my gate. He didn’t have the parts to repair it at that time (not sure why he didn’t have the needed chains when that was the reason for the service call). But he said that it would be ordered and they should be back in a couple of days. I did get an invoice the same day stating the cost of supplies and service. However almost 2 weeks later I have yet to receive a follow up call and my gate remains broken. I will be looking for another company who can do this repair timely.
