Hi William, Thank you for your feedback. We try our best to give all repair options that will work not just for today, but also for the long term. Unfortanately, I think you misunderstood our repair recommendation and why. When your door was hit, bottom bracket was ripped out of the side stile and the front surface is seperating from the back. Replacing the bottom rubber on that section will no fix your door. To be clear, you need to replace the whole bottom section, not just a piece of bottom rubber. That is our sincere recommendation. It is also the only way to ensure safe, reliable operation of your door and it is the same recommendation every respectable garage door company you call will tell you. While you may not like the message, please don't be angry with us for being honest about what actually needs to be done.
