I called for repair service on my old garage door opener in the morning, and the technician arrived in the afternoon. He kept me informed during the afternoon of his projected arrival time. When he arrived, he listened to my description of the problem, and he assessed that the old garage door opener was beyond repair. He gave me three different options and pricing to replace the garage door opener and other parts. I selected the option I wanted, and he began work. The work, cleanup, instructions on using the new unit and syncing in the remotes in my vehicles was all completed in two hours. I am very pleased with the service call, and the friendliness of the technician. I would recommend Precision Garage Door Service.

This was the best repair experience ever! Amazingly fast response to our call. Extremely courteous and knowledgeable owner and staff! Our garage door stopped working. They arrived promptly and gave us the cost of replacement and within approximately 2-3 hours they were done! How many businesses can boast that? I first became acquainted with Precision Garage Door Service 16 years ago when I lived in San Antonio. I always contracted with them because they have stellar materials, employees, and knowledge base. They worked so well with me every time I wanted to make a change, from going to a battery backed up opener, to changing the wall unit, and things my not techie self could do like change the door code or program my new car. So, here in PA, they were my immediate go to company when the garage door - in my 2 yr old home - was causing all kinds of problems. Builders hire the lowest bidder when building, so, naturally, I wasn't going to that company and I saw no point in shopping around. The faith I have in Precision is such that I knew I could count on them even though this was my first time in PA. Precision does not disappoint. Ever! Their products have a lifetime guarantee and they honor it! You need not look anywhere else for the service you require. Call Precision first if you want things done correctly the first time. You'll not be sorry. Oh, one more thing. I hold no stock in this company and am not related to anybody there. This is an honest opinion of a true customer, who's been a customer for more than a decade, I swear. This review form doesn't let me fill out all the service that was performed, so: replaced springs and several other pieces of hardware, balanced the door and sat back and enjoyed.

The door opener was intentionally damaged by placing a wrench on the tract causing the motor to burn out. No effort was made to correct the issue.

To our readers, this false review is missing major details. The claim for this review is not true, and we believe Patricia knows this. She had called us out on 8/6/24 to have a look at 1 of her 3 garage doors and motors. All over 20 years of age. The one Precision was called out for was the far left garage door, that had a broken spring. The tech used vice grips to keep this door open safely while Precision Door did its safety inspection. After reviewing the options to address the door and its broken spring, Patricia elected not to get anything done, and Precision packed up and left. The tech did accidently leave his vice grips in the door. However the vice grips would have to be removed in order to close the door. On 9/12/24 38 days later Precision Door received this review. Which was the first time we were made aware of there being any issue. As there was no record of contact before the posting of this review. We sent a tech out the same day to have a look, and discovered the far left door still had a broken spring and was down. The vice grips were removed. But the motor in question that Precision is accused of burning out was the middle door. Which had a stripped gear and sprocket. The vice grips were never part of the middle door. And even if they were. The motor gears would have stripped out after the first use. Not 38 days later. After reviewing all our notes, photos and inspection reports. We believe this to be an attempt to exploit Precision Door Service for free services. Here at Precision Door, it is very rare for us to make a mistake that results in any damage. And Precision Door will always take responsibility even in some cases where we did nothing wrong. In Patricia's case and demeaner we are being accused of tampering a door, that burned out a motor. To which was not the original door of concern when we were first called out. And to the description of how the motor burned up, would have happened with one use. In one day. Not 38 days later. Patricia never used our services, therefore Precision Door feels no obligation to "correct the issue" that is the result of 20+ years of usage and no maintenance. On a door and motor we never touched or serviced. Thank you.

Our garage door had been acting up for quite awhile - stalling while opening, etc. On Saturday evening it suddenly just slammed closed while we were opening it. It was completely dead. I had seen many ads/reviews/Facebook posts about Precision Garage Door Service and decided to give them a try. I went online Saturday night, and was able to get an appointment for Monday (today) at 4:00 - a time after I got home from work and a time that the closest company was already closed. Kody called me to let me know he could get here early, if I was available. He ended up meeting me at the house just as I got home. He quickly identified the issues with our door and, at my request, gave me multiple options. (I was curious about the possibility of updating our motor, too). The quotes he gave me were so much less than I had anticipated that I chose a full rebuild and a new motor. He had every part he needed on the truck except for the motor, but one phone call later it was delivered to my house by another technician. Working all alone, Kody was able to do a complete rebuild and install a new motor in about 1 1/2 hours, and that included waiting for the new motor to arrive. Absolutely amazing!!! Kody was very professional and personable. He explained every detail to me and put no pressure on me to decide one way or the other as to how to proceed. He is an excellent ambassador for the business and made me 100% satisfied with the quality of service that we received. I will be raving about this company to all of my friends and coworkers. I feel very fortunate to have stumbled onto the ads/links to Precision Garage Door Service. Thank you again for the quality job!!!

I highly recommend Precision Garage Door. Blake was not only on time, he was early and called to let me know he would be early. He talked me through my options, discussed pricing, and got to work immediately. Just a short while later I had a new garage door opener, torsion spring, keypad, and was back in business. I purchased my garage door 10/24. Very pleased overall. Recent issue with door opening only about a foot. Close it & try again & opens completely. Happened random times.
