Mr. Rogers, was very helpful repairing our Garage Door. He explained what he would be doing, and the price. He had this job done in about twenty, or thirty min. I called Precision Door on the recommendation of neighbors and top rating of BBB for a repair on my garage door which had come down on the garbage bin that hadn’t been pulled into the garage far enough, causing 2 rollers to jump the track, bending one of them. I was scheduled for swift service, the Precision technician assessed the problem quickly and said that the bent roller needed to be replaced—a $19 part. Only problem was that the rollers came in a package of 10 and I would have to pay for all 10 to the tune of $190!!!! I was outraged, as in addition I was being asked to pay a $75 service call fee and a $59 labor charge! The technician agreed to drop the labor charge and, as I was desperate at that point to have access to my garage, I allowed him to proceed to change out all ten rollers to the tune of $277.83 (including about $12 tax). In terms of labor time, it took him a total of 20 -25 MAX to change out all 10 rollers, which works out to about 2-3 minutes per roller. Bottom line, for a job that should have taken him less than 5 minutes to replace one $19 part and get the rollers back in the track, it cost me $277.83, an amount that seems to me nothing short of highway robbery. I might also add that I was given a window between 6:00 and 8:00pm when he would be here to make the repair. He arrived at 5:15, minutes after I arrived home at 5:10. I have to wonder if I would have been charged the $75 service call fee if I’d not been here when he arrived 45 minutes before the appointed service time. While I have no problem with paying the service call charge for the technician's time and trouble to come out here, and I would have been happy to pay a reasonable labor charge for the few minutes it would have taken to replace the one roller I needed, to be required to pay for 9 rollers that I didn't need, I find totally unacceptable as a business practice.

My garage door would not close at 5pm on a Friday. I found Precision Door Service on-line, and was so pleased to hear that a service technician could be over within a few hours. Great Service and Reliability. Kyle, the technician was absolutely wonderful. When I called, someone actually answered the phone. How unusual is that in today's world. They also work on Saturdays and Sundays which is always when something breaks. I would definately recommend Precision.

Great fast service, technician was very friendly and had my garage door working in 45 minutes. My door spring broke and they were out to fix it within 2 hours on a friday evening. It took less than 10 minutes for Josh to fix the problem. There was on screw that was too tight so that the lockout feature would not work. Josh adjusted the screw and it's working fine. Thanks Josh.
