2020 gave me one last kick when my garage door opener died on New Year's Eve. Imagine my surprise when the Precision technician arrived on New Year's Day and installed a new opener, new springs and high-tech remote access. The new system is so quiet it's hard to believe the door is actually opening and closing. He did a great job and we are very pleased with our new garage opener system.

A repair request for a broken cable at my son's home turned into two options. Either a full rebuild/overhaul at $983.95, or a temporary fix at $434.95. We had hoped to only replace the broken cable, at about $200, but the technician kept emphasizing that many other parts could fail at any time. My son had recently replaced the roof and the furnace on their home, and this repair will be a burden on their limited budget. Felt pressured by the technician to proceed with the repair.

After speaking to three different reputable garage door repair companies, and explaining to them what I wanted done, they all agreed that your technician should just have replaced the broken cable, and lubed and adjusted the door. They would have explained my options, but would not have pressured and intimidated me into having the extensive repairs done. As for doing repairs for us in the future, no thanks.

Technician was great to work with trouble shooting issue. Looked over whole garage door, and showed signs of potential issues in the future. Nice to talk with, and listened to music while working. Garage door broke this morning. Called Precision and they came out within a few hours and made all necessary repairs. They did the initial installation in 2009 and honored the original warranty. Only cost me the service call.

We purchased our garage door from Precision in 2009. At that time, we purchased the lifetime warranty on parts, labor and service. We have had them come out a few times to tighten things up and replace some parts. Each time the cost is $300-400 and we have not paid a cent. They have honored their warranty. Their service technicians are always professional. Our most recent technician, Stu Ellenberger, was great - he walked me through the repairs and answered my questions very patiently. They also have 24 hour customer service, which is amazing!

I called Precision early Saturday not expecting to get service on a weekend without an extra charge. Not only did I get excellent service, the charges were very reasonable. Rick did an excellent job making a quick repair to my remote eye and without asking did a thorough inspection of my two garage doors (at no additional charge). We discussed a safety feature that I felt was an excellent idea and the work was done promptly and efficiently. Will certainly call Precision again, should I have any further issues, and ask for Rick

Once again Precision Door Service provided excellent service at a reasonable price. Technician Daniel arrived on time, completed work quickly, thoroughly explained what was needed, and made this another great experience. Even called on the evening of July 2nd and my garage door was repaired the next day on July 3rd. So happy as I was sure it would remain broken until after the Holiday. And their was no extra charge for this service on what many other companies consider a Holiday.

The technician was on time, found the problem in two of my garage doors quickly which involved a small horizontal metal piece attached to the chain to become disengaged. He showed me how to repair it myself. He also replace worn springs on one garage door then double checked that all the garage doors working properly and was kind to dogs. *****

The service tech was nice and gave me two estimates one for repair without a new door(917.00) and one with a new door(1989.00) I thought it was quite expensive, but that is no why I gave two stars. On top of the already high trip/service charge to come to my house of 69 dollars they charge me an additional 15 dollars for and environmental surcharge. Pretty ridiculous when there are companies that will come give free estimates. I will not recommend your company to anyone that I know .
