I chose Precision because they offered same day service. I called them about 9:30 am and my garage door was working by 2:30pm. The technician explained everything before starting repairs and went over all repairs upon completion. I mam very pleased with Precision's performance.

This is the second time we have used Precision. Stu installed our new garage door a few years ago. When we needed help with the garage door opener, Stu came to our rescue again. After I explained what was going on, he knew what the problem was. It was fixed and Stu was on his way. I know we can always count on Precision (and Stu).

While I understand the existing Taylor overhead door is no longer manufactured, I am disappointed Dan was unwilling or unable to suggest a practical repair. He prepared to sell a door, then stated his verbal misquote due to fact he neglected to base it upon 18' size. Increased quote delivered later via email. He inquired about the existing LiftMaster opener - when was it installed? He neglected to look at the date stamp on the nameplate to reveal the answer. Dan was unable to repair the door during the Friday appointment. I do appreciate the call which was at no charge to me. The garage door remained cocked open the weekend. I chose to make an appointment with a competitor who arrived Monday morning. He was happy to try and brilliantly succeeded in repairing the Taylor 18' door. I inquired about the finicky push button inside the garage. I learned that it is the original Genie button which doesn't communicate properly with the LiftMaster opener installed by Precision Overhead Door. Sadly, Precision Overhead Door did not replace the button in 2005/6 when they installed the LiftMaster. I suggest that would be sloppy, negligent, and deceptive business practice. Perhaps Precision Overhead Door would like to make that right for me? I am willing and open to your response or dialogue. As an aside, the gentleman who repaired and readjusted the door was working on premises for approximately 1.5 hr. Total cost to me was under $200 vs. the amount for a new door. Is it possible that Dan is misrepresenting Precision Overhead Door, or is that how Precision Overhead Door trains their technicians to upsell unknowing former, current, or prospective customers?

Occasionally, we can not repair a faulty door due to age or proprietary parts. We do not allow our technicians to rig doors due to the liable nature of those actions. We had to have service on our garage door on Mother's Day. We called Precision Garage Door and got someone immediately to answer our call. They scheduled the technician to arrive between 2:00 - 4:00pm. Stu arrived around 3:00 and explained to us what needed to be done. We have a new spring system installed with a lifetime warranty as long as we own the house. The new system is a much beefier system than what was installed. Stu was able to get the job done in less than 45 minutes. He explained everything to us. We told him that he has a new customer now based on the service we received. Thank you for the great response time.
