Company offered the most expensive and best garage door opener and then didn't have it available to install. So I went with the 2nd less expensive choice and that turned out to be even more because all of a sudden I need new wheels and springs for my door as well. Almost $1,000 for the 2nd best garage door opener! Then when I decline, they want $85.00 for the pleasure of giving me an estimate that seems sky high. On top of that, they were unsure if they could complete it that day and may have to do some that day and finish it another day. It seemed to me that because it was late in the day, they just wanted to get out of there. I just wanted a quiet, simple garage door opener installed for what I assumed would be $400- $600 max and take a couple hours to install. Instead I paid $85 for nothing. I called and asked to speak to a manager, they were unavailable until the following day. They called me back at 7:50am? So I called back and left 3 messages, no call back. I would like my $85 back as a start. Who charges for an estimate? What if the price is too high?
