The person who serviced our garage door for the yearly inspection was John. John did call prior with a time frame of his arrival. John was quite meticulous to check every aspect of the performance of our garage door. Once he completed, John explained what was done during the inspection; brought to our attention the brackets needed tightening, because the screw/bolts were quite loose. John was kind enough to help us sync one of our vehicles to the garage door. We are quite pleased with the service inspection, John was professional, courteous and went out of this was to ask, "If we had questions or concerns" about the garage door. Great Job

Do not call them if you need a $50 Torquemaster spring replaced in your garage door system as they will try and force you to replace the entire system for $1000+.

We have used Precision Door Company for years and have always had great service. Today I called to get a tune up on the garage door, and I could not believe my ears---an appointment the same day. I was given a time and low and behold, Patrick called to say he was running a head on his schedule and ask if he could come a little earlier. When he arrived, I told him I thought we needed a tune up and asked him to assess the condition of the door. We decided that a new spring would make the door a lot quieter which it did. Patrick completed the job in record time, explained all he had done, and gave me cell number if I ever needed it in an emergency. He is extremely well trained, very polite, and truly an incredible asset to the company. Precision Door Company, you do an excellent job in hiring and training your service people. We paid for a service call today and feel we got very little value for the $70 service call charge. The Techician basically diagnosed there was no problem in about 5 minutes, then would not even do a simple lubrication and other basic preventive maintenance without I believe another approximately $100 additional fee. And this all relates to a new garage door installed by Precision Door a year or so ago. We are long time Precision Door Customers and expect better value than this. Dear Mr Miller, We want to thank you for the feedback on your service today. Our lead technician came out to inspect your door as you informed our call center that it was “making noise” that was uncommon since it was installed. Our technician did his inspection and deduced you just needed an annual tune-up. The tune-up special is to make any adjustments and lubricate our doors to keep them in the best shape possible for an extended period. The assessment and service cannot be completed by anyone but a qualified technician. We have a standard price for labor completed by our certified technicians, that is the price you were quoted for – a tune-up and labor. When you refused to pay for the service that you requested, our technician collected our pre-quoted service fee only. We would have waived that service fee if you had chosen to have the quoted service completed. This is all information you had prior to our technician arriving this morning. Refusing to pay a set labor charge is equivalent to having a trained technician do work for free. While we appreciate our customers we simply cannot keep the skilled staff we have employed without paying them fairly for their time and effort. We hope this breakdown helps to make clear how the technician created the quote you received and encourages you to keep us in mind for future service needed.

You have confirmed for me that it is time for me to move on to a more reputable, responsible, and customer-oriented company. Your response missed the point, and I found it to be condescending and disrespectful. I'm 70 years old, an accomplished military officer and businessman. I have NEVER asked for or attempted to get anything for free, nor will I ever. I am disgusted that you would suggest I was asking for something for free. The point i was making was that the value we received for what we were paying service call (for a 5 -10 minute diagnosis) was concerning, and enough so for me to tell you about it. You also indicated that the details of any additional preventive maintenance was explained to me. It was not! The only thing that was said to me, after I specifically asked about lubricating the rollers not being part of the service call, was that anything beyond the service call (5 minutes) was going to cost something on the order of $160. The technician even suggested, what I already knew, that I could do the lubrication myself, so it was never clear to me there were multiple services included beyond just lubrication included in this additional cost that was quoted. I'm a reasonable person. But I don't take kindly to being disrespected. And your response was highly inflammatory and disrespectful to me.

He had all the parts on his truck He was prompt in completing the job in a timely manner. He took Capitol One Credit Card. I accepted the better option but can't find any paperwork. Aaron came out to look at our garage door. We have been having issues with it not closing properly or reliably. We had another provider come out a couple of times and they have been unable to address it. Aaron spent about an hour tweaking and adjusting the door and it is now running better than ever.

I hope don't get any type of retribution from this, but no diagnosis was done. Viewed a belt with missing track and the only solution was to replace the complete motor at a cost of $600dls. I can visually see a loose bracket which may be the problem or not. I assumed the service person would come with standard parts used to replace and repair. I'll be calling another still have to fix it. The track belt travels.

Dear Mr. Hernandez, Our technician came to your home this morning and gave you the diagnosis of a broken belt on a 15 year old garage door opener with a rail system that he could not repair. He offered to replace your existing opener with a more up to dat option. Replacing parts on a motor that old would be a temporary fix at best. Our technicians do have fully stocked trucks for repairing most garage door openers that were produced within the las 10 years, but we are unable to carry every part for every motor produced. We hope you will be able to find someone to help you and we recommend you give further consideration to replacing replacing older motor parts that will no doubt require a complete replacement in the very near future.
