Broken Garage Door Spring Repair

Devon was early, professional, Courtois, knowledgeable. Originally called to replace a broken spring. This door had not been serviced sense it was installed, approximately 15 years ago. Pointed out several items that needed addressing. He showed me the existing damage on each part and explained what could happen if it was not addressed. Replaced springs to torsion cables and everything in between.

It was easy to set up a next-day appointment. Josue Blanco arrived on time, discussed work to be performed, kept me informed on progress, and completed the tasks in a professional manner. I got a new weather strip for garage door bottom and routine preventative maintenance on the door and opener. The door is so much smoother and quieter now. Josue even got my car Home Link working for me as a friendly gesture.

This is the second time I have used Precision Garage Door for garage door issues. In the first instance they fixed broken spring in my previous house. Since they did such a good job I used their services for my current house garage door maintenance. The door was rattling while travelling. Bryan, the technician came on time fixed the rollers and adjusted the rails and lubricated various parts. He did an excellent job and the rattling noise has gone. I am very much satisfied with their work.

"VERY IMPRESSED" I called at 3:30 in the afternoon because my garage door would not open....broken spring. The scheduler said they would be their after 8pm. After an extensive search online. I was impressed with the ability to design the door style, color and windows that we were wanting and able to see a picture of the doors. When the tech arrived it was an easy transition to measurements and price quotes. A deal was agreed on and an installation appointment will be coming soon.

The Installer, Joshua, was courteous and finished the job in a timely manner...but he did not ware a face mask. Social distancing was not practiced because I had to sign the pad as he swiped from page to page. He gave me an estimate on preparing my driveway gate. I will not be using you company to do the gate repair because of your lack of safety precautions during this pandemic.

I used Precision about two years ago to replace the spring. The technician completed the job, then went on to clean, align and oil everything that there was to do these jobs on. I was waiting for an extra charge and he said he did it for free! I was amazed. Yesterday, I called Precision and expected the same good service which I did receive. However, when it came to the cleaning, aligning and all of the items done by the technician previously, I was told all of those are chargeable items. I was disappointed with this reply. Plus, the technician strongly suggested I do more to the unit which I had no idea what these items were while we were on the phone. The door works and I am pleased with that, but I may think twice about Precision in the future.
