Precision Garage Door company is an absolutely grade A organization. I made an on line appointment and was contacted shortly after. We set up a home visit to diagnose the problem with my garage doors; they are the original doors (20+ years). One motor was shot and both doors were rusting and very noisy. I had pretty much made up my mind about replacing them. They worked up an estimate which I agreed with. The sales guys were very professional. Luckily they were able to schedule the installation the next day. The installation guys were experts and very professional. THE MOST IMPRESSIVE THING FOR ME WAS THE LEVEL OF COMMUNICATION. I NEVER WONDERED WAS WAS NEXT. They kept me very informed. Thanks Precision

Service tech was on time and friendly and did a good job. But service was way overpriced. $938 for basically taking off some brackets that were installed incorrectly and bolting them back in, and a regular tuneup of springs and lubrication. That’s over $450 hour rate with no parts other than some bolts. Way overpriced. No problem with the technician, he was nice but just charged me way too much for what it was.

I was not sure how much it was going to cost to replace both tension springs. Total cost ended up around $900. Cost for each spring was $400. If I had done a little research before or during installation I would have determined one could obtain tension springs for around $100-$200 max. So Precision Door’s markup is 50-75%. A reasonable charge to do the work would’ve been around $400-$500. My bad for not doing my research. Disappointed in Precision Door for ripping off its customers. For those reading this review beware of price gouging.

I've now used Precision Door three times. Broken springs and now a replacement garage door opener. As always, I was able to schedule an appointment that was convenient to me on the weekend. Marlon showed up inside the predicted window and called to keep me updated on his estimated arrival. Upon arrival, Marlon listened to me, answered all of my questions, even some I hadn't thought about, presented me with different options and their pros/cons, and was 100% professional the entire visit. We were having an issue with our garage door not shutting consistently. I went to Precision’s website and was able to secure an appointment for the very same day. David Nelson came out at did a full inspection and offered a few options to solve. I went ahead and chose to replace both overhead springs. The issue proved a bit more difficult than was initially thought but David stuck with it until the job was done right, well past 6:30pm. Our garage door now works much better. I would highly recommend Precision and would emphasize that David did an excellent and thorough job.
