You guys charged us $705 and couldn’t bother to take the old springs. Our tech was also an hour late without a call. For a premium price, I expect better.

If I could give NO stars I would. I received an estimate and proceed to go with the work order. I never received service on my garage. I have to call everyday to find out the status. Everyone is busy and no one is able to give me answers. Why is it so hard to send a follow up email? Why is it hard to keep your customers informed? There was no service performed!!! I need answers please.

First I would like to apologize for any inconvenience or miscommunications. I was told when Mrs. Reese placed the order for her door on 11/13/22 that she was called and told the original ETA of the door was 12/5/22. Yesterday on 11/28/22 I received a call from the vendor and her door was in stock. I called Mrs. Reese personally and let her pick a date and time for install. Her install is scheduled for 12/2/22 from 2pm-6pm. If there is anything else I can do please let me know.

Caleb did a great job fixing my side motor garage door motor and tracks. They thought it was going to by $750 for the repair and after doing some other things that worked it was only $365. Extremely disappointed with this company. Reached out at 7:30 am for someone to come out to inspect and provide estimate and they confirmed same day appt between 8:00-12:00. Called a few times after 10:00 to get ETA. Was told they would reach out to tech to contact me. NEVER HAPPENED! Called multiple times and was told same thing. Tech never reached out to me and it was already past 2:00 pm. Thankfully they contacted another tech (Garrett) who was extremely professional and contacted me right away. He came and assessed situation and was very professional and courteous. Except for Garrett's professionalism, I was quite disappointed with Precision and will never use them or refer company ever again.

The website says same day but they didn't bring it up and so I asked and they said well we can try to squeeze you in but no guarantee - so I don't think that is great advertising. They gave me a 2 hour window and 15 minutes before my window was over I called to get an update and they said they didn't know so they had the tech reach out and it would be another hour. There seems to be not great communication between the call center and the techs. The gentleman that came was great and extremely friendly so that is why it got the 4 stars.

My 7 year old Wayne Dalton Torquemaster Garage door broke one of it's springs and I could not get my garage door open. I called Precision Door Service and they sent out a technician the following day to make the repair. When he arrived he told me I had a Wayne Dalton builder grade door and they don't carry parts for these repairs and wasn't able to suggest anyone that could repair it. To be honest, I am realistic and was expecting to pay around $350 - $400 parts and labor for the broken spring repair but almost fell over when the technician said he could replace the Torquemaster with a torsion spring set he had on the truck but it would cost me $1100 parts and labor. I was in shock but agreed to the repair since I was stuck with a broken garage door and had no idea who could repair it or how long it would take. The technician installed the new setup in about 1 1/2 hours and it worked fine, my complaint is what I consider price gouging. I am an Internet research buff and quickly went online and found the same Wayne Dalton torsion spring conversion kit for $158 plus shipping. I have no idea what wholesale cost is but I'm guessing less than I can purchase it for retail. If Precision had charged me $500 for this repair, I probably would have been a very satisfied customer but $1100 is a ripoff and I will never use or recommend Precision to anyone. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me!

Garrett, from Precision Garage Door, came to my home. I had backed into my garage door when it didn't open all the way... I bent the door, ripping off the satellite antennae and scraping the roof of my car. Garrett, graciously repaired the door, bending it back, securing the metal flashing with a few screws and re-stapling the frame around the door... all with no charge!!! He also worked to give me estimates on replacing both doors and was endlessly polite and helpful with my questions. I will definitely call them again when I can do the replacements. Thank you, Garrett!

I paid $445 for about 25 minutes of work, and the work began more than four hours after the scheduled time. A storm blew out the power source for our gate. For safety, the electrical repair person had to disengage the chain from its motor, so I needed an expert to properly reattach the chain to the motor. I was told to be ready for the technician during a two hour window from 10am to noon. No one came. The technician called at 4pm and said he was in Fort Worth and would not be able to get to me until 5:30pm, suggesting I reschedule. I declined because others’ cars were being blocked by the gate. He also said, based on my description, the repair could cost up to $300. He arrived at 5:05pm. He could not figure out how to thread the chain through my particular motor, so he facetimed one of his colleagues. He finished work at 5:30. I called Precision asking, if I paid $180 for labor, why was I also paying for $165 for “gate operator diagnostics/tech support,” and $100 for “gate preventive maintenance.” They said it sounded like there might be a mistake and they’d look into it. They called back offering to refund the $100. When I asked them if the $165 was because the technician had to consult a colleague, they said no. They could not explain but said, please don’t write a review until they checked further, after which they’d call me. I never received a call or any refund.

Two gentlemen arrived right on schedule to replace broken springs. I asked if they had a replacement garage door opener on their truck - the one we had was a low end replacement opener from Lowes. They installed an upgraded opener that has a battery and is controllable from my iPhone; that was exactly what I was looking for. We have a very heavy wooden garage door, so the effort was substantially and the job took a bit longer than expected. Most impressive - the two men did not rush the job. Everything was handled professionally and meticulously. After job completion, our garage door is quieter than it has ever been - even when new. The men that did the work are true professionals.
