Extremely satisfied with Precision Garage Door service. We were having trouble with both our garage doors. Dillon Daughtry inspected the doors, and explained what the problem was and some options to fix it. We decided to replace the doors. In two weeks our doors were replaced by their technician Shane Follis. Both gentlemen were very efficient, knowledgeable, personable, and informed us on the process, what to expect when the job could be scheduled and how long the job would take. I would highly recommend this company and these gentlemen.

On the morning of May 1 both door springs failed with my vehicle inside the garage. Precision had previously provided excellent serviced on the door. I called them and made an appoint for later in the afternoon. Brad called and was available before the appointment time and we agreed to proceed. He arrived and provided estimates for three different options. Given the age of the door opener, I opted to replace the opener as well as the springs. As advertised, he had everything needed to completed the install. I am an engineer by education and profession - worked as a construction project manager for 30-years. My expectations and standards are high. The installation was done very well and the system performed very well.

0 stars, most rude technician I have encountered. He blew my phone up while was on vacation trying to get through the Chicago airport so I called him back after getting through check in and security to make the payment. I asked him to send a receipt because I have 10 properties in remodel stage and I need to keep track of expenses for audits. He said he would. I never received it. I called him back the next day and asked again. I never received it. I called him back again today and he said call customer service so I asked him to stay on the phone and I would conference us all in to figure out where the communication breakdown is coming from. My thoughts are that If he cant get a receipt sent, then how can I. He said it was his day off today, started complaining about not being able to get me for 45 minutes while I was "on my day off" and then hung up on me.

Service technician was a delightful professional, called ahead of visit, was right on time, replaced both springs in quick order, made the necessary adjustments until perfect, inspected the entire system to his satisfaction and all this under an hour. Yep, they earned my respect and my recommendation to anyone needing help. Let a professional handle this one. You don't want to be injured by a flying spring.

I called for a tech to come to look over my garage opener since it just stopped working. They sent CJ to my home on a Sunday. He explained the options to me with there were a few. We agreed on one and he completed the time in a very professional manner.

I have not had a company attempt to bait and switch me in a long time. On the phone, Precision stated that to repair a broken spring for a single-car residential garage door would range between $139 and $159 depending on which spring was needed. I, specifically, asked if that included labor and Precision said "yes". When the technician arrived, the price jumped to $440 to repair the spring despite the technician stating it was a common spring. I decided not to do the work with Precision and, instead, had another company install a new spring for $200 (included a 10-year warranty). Precision charged me $65 for the service call, which seems unfair since I was bait and switched. I will make sure to inform others in the Homeowners Association of my experience with Precision.

We're sorry that there was a miscommunication on the phone whether your door was for a single car or a double. We quoted a price for one spring on a single door. Unfortunately our competition only sold one spring that made their cost half our price. We apologize for the miscommunication and hope that this error does not eliminate the chances of serving you in the future.
